Shaking his head with a light grumble, the man pushed forward to open the door after a few moments looking down at the sad seeming dragonet. Orange eyes roved over the sight before them without remorse, pausing here and there to take in sights they'd not though to encounter. "It hatched for you. Nothing I tried convinced it to choose me. Take it." Moving forward, the mage held out the dragon reluctantly while trying to keep his mind away from certain subjects. Just remembering how close he'd been to Eclipse made Sholto want more of the same intimacy. Anger still simmered beneath the surface though, halting any thoughts of that and making darker images writhe trough the blond's mind.

He looks at the man as the dragon jumps onto his shoulder coing. He lightly rubs under its chin for a moment. He looks over the mage as their eyes lock his heart seemed to feel something new. He then turns away. "Fine, I will look after him, every creature has a right to the chance to live" he says. He picks up the black under shirt, folding it, and sitting it neatly at the end of the bed. He hesitates for a moment then picked up the deep violet overshirt. The dragon seemed to sense his feelings, for it lowered its head, whimpering a bit.

Losing the weight of the newly born life left Sholto's heart feeling empty. That had been one of his dreams. Having a dragon for a companion, what mage didn't want that? As his orange eyes met Eclipse's a shiver ran down Sholto's spine. There was just something about him that drew a long forgotten part of Sholto to the forefront. One that he'd worked long and hard to lock away from the world in a dark shady corner. Shaking his head he moved forward to brush a light hand against Eclipse's back. "How has your life been?" The question trembled in the air, the first signs of a curiosity that did not necessarily have anything to do with magic.

Eclipse pauses as his skin was touched. He looked down, staring at the blanket on the makshift bed. How has his life been? That was certainly a loaded question. His mind wandered a bit to his past, many things that he would rather not share with anyone. Things from his past opened the door to bringing him down. "My life....What kind of life do you expect for a pet" he says slightly coldly. "I am nothing...you don't even reguard me as a person right...I'm just a thing for everyone to own..." that thought hurt him as well. He was viewed by everyone only as an object. He was created for his master, and therefore was in debt to serve him and do whatever he wanted, even if that entitled the dosens of spells used on him to keep him docile....to make sure he didn't fight back....especially in bed....those memories were the worst. He felt suddenly sick, the dragon lets its tail and wings droop more along with its head. It nuzzles Eclipse's cheek a bit. He looks down in time to realize he had been clenching the shirt so hard he had tore it..

After a few moments spent in thought, the mage let out a sigh. Hurt and bitterness had warred in the voice of the one who'd so unexpectedly changed everything with his arrival. Reaching around Eclipse, the blond snagged the ruined shirt and held it up to examine it. He wasn't the best at mending things, but Sholto could certainly manage. All the while his thoughts flew swiftly in search of an answer. "My perception of you has been ... Changing." Putting the shirt aside, Sholto moved to wrap his arms around Eclipse to pull the other man close in a hug that obviously surprised him. Desire he'd been expecting, but this unexpected need to offer comfort was something else all together.

Eclipse felt a strange warmth in his cheeks floating to the surface. The warmth of his body was nice against Eclipse's. He slowly turned, and the dragon hopped down onto the bed. He looked up at the other man who had his arms around him. His own rest just above his pant line. For a moment things seemed to blur, the kidnapping, Eclipse's master, the dragon, all of it seemed to fade. In this moment, there was this man...an him. Without thinking he leaned up, letting his lips brush the other's, before catching them full on in a kiss.

The orange eyed mage tried to hide his surprise as Eclise turned to face him. Lips parting to speak, the sounds became nothing more then those of surprise as his lips were captured unexpectedly. Pulling Eclipse closer, Sholto found himself deepening the kiss and wishing for closer contact. Eclipse held so much of Sholto's attention, he couldn't think of anything or anyone else at the moment, not even the dragon upon the bed. A silent observer to everything that was going on between the two of them.

Eclipse allowed his hips to move closer, pressing against the mage's. He slides his hands up the other's chest, moving to loop around his neck. The little dragon on the bed tilts its head looking at what was going on, then lowers its head hiding its face with one wing. It slowly peeks out around it with one eye watching the kiss.

Shivers running down his spine, the mage pulled back slightly to take a few deep breaths. Eyes falling to Eclipse, he bent his head down to capture another breath stealing kiss before pulling back once more with a smile. "And what do you mean by this?" He was curious really. After all, Eclipse had seemed so adamant about nothing happening between them and his loyalty to the man who had created him.

He looked up at the man. He let him hold his body close. "I....I don't know" he tilts his head a bit to the left in a slightly curious act. He lets his hands once more slide back down low onto his stomach tracing the patterns of his muscles on his stomach. The draggon seemed to smile from the bed, even if dragons couldn't truly smile it gave the look of it. Its tail swishing the air as if slightly wagging happily.

It caught him off guard, this honest answer from someone he'd captured. Sholto's orange eyes slipped half closed as a shuddering breath left his lips. Who would have thought a simple touch could have such an effect? Mulling over his next actions very carefully, the mage's lips quirked up into a wry smile. "We should find out. I have food ready, if you're hungry." The thought of the soup had a rumble coming from the blond's stomach. A chuckle followed soon enough at the thought of how his words could be taken.

He nods a bit keeping his eyes on the man. He takes a breath and looks at the dragon who happily looked back at him. He couldn't help but smile a bit at it, it was so cute and innocent right now, hard to believe such things grew into terrifying destructive beasts when they were older. He wondered what he would do with a dragon, what would his master say when he went home? Home.... Eclipses mood seemed to sadden slightly as he thought about the place he had come from.

He couldn't help but watch Eclipse's face as his eyes traveled over the room. Glancing over at the dragon, a soft smile crossed Sholto's features before they hardened again. Soon enough a look of concern crossed the mage's changeable features as his eyes found Eclipse's face once more. "Is something the matter?" Of course he'd gone and kidnapped the other man, but Sholto had done nothing more to him then that. He still wanted Eclipse to belong to him, and to acknowledge that. The mage was simply going about it in a different way.

"No...' he stepped back from the mage. "I'm not hungry though, so I will not be joining you, and do not think this changes things" he says his defenses slightly rising once more. He turned away and walked to the other side of the bed. He picks up the pillow from the floor, tossing it back on the bed. The little draggon scamppers over to him, hopping up once more on his shoulder. He couldn't give into this man, no matter what he had to remain loyal and faithful to his master. He had to get out of here.

Inclining his head for a small bow, Sholto made as if to leave the room but turned around after deciding something. Eclipse was going to at least sit at the table with him, even if he refused to eat. Moving quickly he grabbed the other man's arm and began pulling him forcefully along with him. "You will be joining me. There's no choice in the matter for you." With that he sent a half playful smile at the magical being. He tried not to show that he was being more careful then he usually was about the way he was handling the other man. This simply wasn't a situation Sholto was used to.

He glared slightly as he was pulled along. The dragon growled slightly, and wrapped around the back of Eclipse's shoulders to keep a hold of him. Eclipse thought about why he was doing this. Why was it so important for him to join the other for dinner? This was a bit foolish, but he was slightly hungry, even if he had refused to eat. He lightly bites his bottom lip watching the mage a bit.

Soon enough they were in the cave entrance with it's welcoming atmosphere. Releasing the magical being, Sholto averted his eyes and moved to spoon out some soup. Sitting down with his back to Eclipse he began to eat and sighed. Every savor made the soup rich and full. The roots, the meat and the homegrown herbs all combined to make a masterpiece of a meal. Or so Sholto told himself as he tried not to think of Eclipse. Soon they would both have to sleep, and the mage was loathe to do so alone when another person resided within his home.

He stood there watching the man eat for a moment. A soft sigh escapes him, and he crossed to the other chair. He slides it out, and slowly lowers his frame to sit. He didn't look at the man, and instead kept his eyes on the fire in the fireplace. He listened to the embers crackle and pop, while ignoring the smell of food. He hadnt eatten since the afternoon almost two days before now . His master had been doing a test, Eclipse had had to be clean of anything in his stomach. The test had gone well and he was going to be able to eat, when the mage had shown up, and now the feeling was slowly starting to creep in.

Glancing up at the sound of a chair being pulled back, Sholto shrugged lightly. Lifting his head he ladled some of the soup into Eclipse's bowl before returning his attention to his own food. Silently he ate everything within the bowl, then shoved it aside without thinking. It seemed like everything he wanted, refused to to obey him. Frustration filled Sholto as he stood to walk to the other side of the room to peer at the herbs hanging from the ceiling. Some were dried, while others were still in the process of becoming so.

Eclipse looked at the bowl placed before him. He refused to make any move in consuming sny of it however. His mind split between his master and the mage now across the room. He wondered what was going through his head right now. He couldn't help but let his eyes wander over to the other man.

After poking at some of the herbs lightly, Sholto moved quietly across the chamber again. Wandering about almost aimlessly he found himself standing behind Eclipse. Impulsively, the mage bent down to wrap his arms around the other man and rested his head against Eclipse's shoulder. "Eat, I don't want you to starve." Eclipse sent out so many contradicting signals, it confused Sholto. The mage hadn't interacted all that much with other people since his parent's demise. Becoming a reclusive person obsessed with power had seemed like the right thing to do for Sholto so he could reach his goal.

Eclipse froze a bit, as the mage moved so close. He took a slight breath and then turns to look at him a bit. He opened his mouth to protest a bit, but the baby dragon nudged the spoon towards him. He sighs and slowly picks up the spoon. He takes some of the soup, and slowly brings the soup to his lips taking a bit. It was good, but Eclipse didn't give a hint about his feelings away.

A small smile tugged the mage's lips up as he watched the little dragon nudge the spoon. It was nice to see that he and it agreed on something. "Well how is it?" Shifting slightly, the mage tried to think of what to do next. There were so many things that he wanted from Eclipse, but he wanted them to be given not forced. That would be a very difficult thing to achieve indeed.

He didn't look at the man. "It is...nice" he says simply. He watched the dragon a bit, for the mere thought as to not move his attention to the mage. He sighs lightly, looking over his shoulder finally back at the mage.

Leaning froward to brush his lips against Eclipse's, Sholto found himself wearing a surprising grin. "Good." That was all. Once the single word left his mouth the blond moved away from the dark haired man to wander about the cavern again. This time he searched for something. Upturned baskets and opened boxes soon were scattered about the room. After a while of this, Sholto let out a relieved sigh as he found what he'd been searching for. It was a leather bound journal filled with blank pages. Without a word the mage placed it beside his guest and proceeded to make himself another bowl of soup.
