She smiled happily, content with the fact that Alai was happy with the clothing. Maybe a little too happy, she realized with a ferocious blush, as he started changing right before her eyes. Lucrese couldn't help but stare as his pale chest was exposed, though she tried to avert her eyes. This was just all too strange! And yet ... maybe she was beginning to like all this strangeness.

"You look very kissable." As soon as the words left her mouth, Lucrese clapped a hand over her lips. Oh no! Whirling around, the pink haired girl slipped from her room and into the living room. She plopped down onto the couch and sighed. That hadn't been what she wanted to say, though she'd been thinking it as the white haired man twirled around in her dress.

Alai blinked at the words that slipped past Lucrese's lips. A soft blush coming up to color his cheeks, but his smile didn't falter and his eyes glimmer with a hint of teasing in them. When she ran from the room, the white haired young man gave chase. When she plopped down on the couch, he stood in front of her, hands on his hips and he bent down so his face was really REALLY close to hers. That soft blush still on his cheeks, but otherwise he didn't seem embarrassed at all. "Does that mean you WANT to kiss me?" He asked the question with a bit of a laugh in his tone, he seemed rather amused by her actions. It was amusing, and interesting, and he did want to know the answer to that question.

She hadn't really thought Alai would let her escape so easily after letting something like that slip out. As he leaned forward, her lips parted slightly as her blush deepened. "I...I ... Yes." It was nothing more then a whisper as she looked up at the white haired man. Lucrese could feel her heart beating furiously against her chest as she prepared herself for the expected rejection. They were from two different worlds after all. Even if Alai did feel the same way, it just wasn't possible.

Alai had expected that answer, how could he not after what she had said. He giggled softly and reached out to grab her hands. He pulled her to her feet easily. He was stronger than he looked, and once she was on her feet he pulled her very close. His lips were mere millimeters from hers, but he didn't kiss her..yet. "Why? You hardly know me." It was just a question of curiosity, Alai really didn't seem to mind that she wanted to kiss him in the least, and his arms were around her. Keeping her from running off to another room again.

Alai didn't give her time to answer his question again. He seemed to be in a habit of that, his soft lips pressed against hers, gently. Almost delicately, but there was no passion in the kiss and for all of Alai's warmth and the warmth of his soft lips, there was just the tiniest bit of a chill in that kiss. He deepened the kiss, his tongue gently lapped at her lips to seek entrance, but like his lips his tongue held a hint of that chill. Alai expected her to pull away, wouldn't be surprised if she did, and he would let her go if she did.

As she was pulled up, the young woman frantically tried to come up with some reason as to why. It was true, this was soon but there was just something about Alai. The thoughts flew from her mind as she felt lips against her own. Her mouth opened of it's own accord, not necessarily because of Alai's actions but because of her shock and surprise. Her arms came up to hug him close, even if she didn't think he would want her to do that. This was the strangest kiss of her life.

Alai was a little surprised when her lips parted and she didn't pull away. Gently he slipped his tongue into her mouth, his tongue seemed slightly cooler than his lips, and even his breath was cool. For Lucrese it probably felt like she was being kissed by a very soft winter's breeze, but Alai was enjoying the warmth of Lucrese's lips, the warmth of her mouth, as his tongue wriggled gently against her own. Still the kiss lacked passion and hunger, and it lacked lust. Most people didn't really enjoy being kissed like that, Alai was used to being rejected and turned away just from kissing. He was also used to being screamed at and threatened for pretending to be a girl sometimes when things went a little far. His eyes had slipped closed, but he couldn't help but wonder when she would pull away from her, when she would have enough of this chilling, passionless kissing.

After a while Lucrese pulled back with a small smile. Her arms were still wrapped around Alai, like she didn't want to let go. Though strange, it had been nice for the gentleness the white haired boy had shown her. There was something bothering her though. "Why did you kiss me?" Obligation maybe, or simply because of what she'd said? It was obvious he didn't feel any sort of romantic feelings for her. Friendship maybe, but nothing more. That wasn't much of a surprise considering they'd only known each other for a day.

When she pulled back from the kiss, Alai licked his lips gently, his eyes opening to look at her. They were still bright, and a small was on his lips, her question though caused him to shrug slightly. "Because you wanted to kiss me." He said the words as if it had been obvious. His arms were still around her though and he was hugging her gently. There had been no obligation, at least, Alai hadn't felt obligated, he had just wanted to be nice and show her what kissing him would be like. He let his arms fall away from her, but he was still smiling, his eyes still bright. Alai hadn't done what he had with the intention of hurting or upsetting her in anyway, but now he thought that might happen. Girl hearts were delicate things, he should've known better than to just kiss her like that.

She let him go like he was a block of ice, and a flash of hurt crossed her features. That was it? She turned her head and took in a deep breath. "You shouldn't have if it was just that." Lucrese shoved her hurt away, and plastered a smile on her face instead. It wouldn't do to dwell on this, since it was better this way.

"Anyway, come on. I wanted to take you to the shopping mall so you could pick out some clothes." What a way to change the subject, it almost sounded like she was bribing him.

Alai blinked when she let go of him, and that hurt flashed across her face. His smile faltered. "...But..." He hadn't meant to upset her, it hadn't been in his intention at all, and Alai really didn't feel like shopping now. He had hurt her, and it hadn't been his intention to hurt her at all. She was his friend. He ran his hands over the dress, smoothing it a bit before he turned from her. "I don't particularly feel like shopping, I do want to go outside though." He tugged the dress a bit and made his way in to her bedroom. Where he had left his clothes and the pants and shirt she said he could have.

Alai picked up the pants and slid them on, while still wearing the dress. He had left the bedroom door open after all and it wouldn't do to show off his naughty bits, especially if she did come in after him. The pants on, Alai gently tugged the dress off, he laid it neatly on the bed and reached for the shirt. The pants were a bit tight on him, but he seemed to move comfortably in them as he reached over for the shirt.

His back was to the door and if she came in, she would most likely see the scars that decorated his back. Some looked like they'd been made by the claws of an animal, a big cat or something. On Alai's right shoulder blade though was the image of a snowflake, it was about the size of a quarter and an ice blue color. It wasn't a tattoo, Alai had been born with that mark. He pulled the shirt on and ran his hands over it a few times before he seemed satisfied. He liked the way those clothes felt on him too. The material was different than what he was used to and he liked the way the pants hugged his thighs and legs.

She shook her head and followed after Alai without a word. Lucrese had no idea he was about to get changed, and was rather surprised when he did. She'd been under the impression Alai liked people thinking he was a girl. Her eyes widened at the sight of scars upon the delicate looking boy's back. She made no comment though, preferring to let things lie as they did.

Getting closer to Alai then she already was seemed like a bad idea. He'd end up returning to his world soon enough. "Did you just want to walk around then?" This was going to be kind of entertaining, and frightening too. With Alai around, they were sure to be getting plenty of attention from people, and not the kind Lucrese wanted anyway. She couldn't really speak for Allai though.

Alai hadn't realized she had followed after him, he hadn't really thought about it. Even his closest friend back in the Feywild had never seen him shirtless from the back. Those scars were his secret, his best kept secret, but the seemingly always cheerful healer had many secrets. When Lucrese spoke, Alai turned towards her with a smile on his face, his eyes bright again.

He had upset her by kissing her, but he couldn't take it back, so for now, until he could make it up to her, Alai would just pretend it hadn't happened. "I want to be close to nature, for a little bit. The open sky, grass, gentle breezes." The air in her building seemed stifling to him, there was tension in the air. Tension that hadn't been there until he had kissed her. He reached out and grasped her hand, gently lacing his fingers with hers. "Aren't there any meadows or forests nearby?"

"Meadows, no, but parks yes." There was one nearby, and people rarely ever went there. No one in the area seemed to have kids, so their excuse for going was non-existent. Her hand trembled a little against Alai's, the only outward sign that Lucrese was now quite confused. The young woman ended up shaking it off mentally, and tugging the white haired otherworlder towards the outside of the building.

The sky had begun to show the beautiful colors of sunset, and all was surprisingly quiet in the streets. This area, though a very nice one, still had it's fair share of noise. Trough the streets, she guided Alai. Pointing out things here and there, explaining what lampposts were and their uses, as well as trying to fumble trough why the buildings were all so high.

Finally they arrived in the deserted park with it's towering trees and pretty flowers of all colors. The green grass looked too inviting for Lucrese to resist, so she flung her shoes to the side and ran forward to enjoy the cool, ticklish, feeling of walking there.
