I have French at school as well. Can't say I'm really bad at it, but I still make lots of mistakes. And sometimes I come to hate that language, because I have so many French lessons x.x

@Kirsch: One year isn't enough to learn a language. I've been learning French for 3 years and since I choose myself bilingual school, I have also Math, Geography and History with French vocabulary.
Well, I guess it can't be helped ^^; There aren't too many people from countries like Germany.

Nah; sure not enough, but you are still able to learn something. I should be able to form simple sentence but I cant ._.

Yes, I speak a little French (four years in elementary school but I'm out of practice) and some Japanese (basic conversations, no kanji). I can somewhat pronounce written Korean (hangul) but I can't understand it.
Also because the languages are similar I can somewhat understand Norwegian, Danish, some Deutch and some German.
I languages as well, I even took one semester of lingvistics at the University a few years ago. Very interesting but I could have done without all the grammar rules... They were very difficult to remember.

@Livia: It didn't? That sounds horribly annoying! Was it because of the site or no activity?
