Cali awoke in the morning and found that they were still safe as he thought they would be. He opened his door and got out, he didn't need to worry about the lights they had a switch for them so he left the door open so that the fresh air would get into the car. He stood by the car and stretched.

Adrea woke up and looked over at Cali seeing he was outside stretching she got out of the car doing the same seeing as it would be another day of driving.

"Good morning." he greeted her smiling kindly. It was strange, if this hadn't made him alone he would have just left her where she was and not looked back, him and his friends were actually kind of cold hearted, mostly because of the drugs and alcohol. But since this happened he had had an awakening.

Adrea looked over at him then nodded saying "Morning", she looked around for a bit then got back in the car so that they could start driving again. She couldn't wait until they found the human haven, it would mean that they were actually safe.

Once he was done he got back in the car and fixed his seat then started the car and drove off in the direction of the haven.

Adrea sat in the car and watched as trees went past.

He drove all morning and finally reached the coastal town that the broadcasts came from He drove to the location of them and looked around confusedly. "Wait a minute, I thought it would be right here." he said. They were a pier and he then thought. "Last time I tried to find it I was left at a pier as well. I think it might be a water vessel, but we should listen for broadcasts and see where those lead us before we are sure of that."

Adrea looked around then said "I think that you are right about that." she looked at the peir then said "So I guess we wait for a bit?"

"Yeah, I guess we do, breakfast?" he asked her. They had a cooler with food in the back as well as one in the trunk.

Adrea nodded then said "So what do you want to eat?" she turned around in her seat to look in the cooler in the back seat.

"How about one of those sandwitches we have in there?" he asked. They had the more parishable items in the cooler in the back so they'd get eaten before they spoiled.

Adrea smiled then said "Sure" she grabbed two of the sandwiches out and turned back around handing one to him saying "Here."

"Thanks." he said taking the plastic wrap off and taking a bite. He had turned on the radio to listen for any board casts from the human haven.

Adrea sat quietly listening to the raido while eating.

Cali ate while listening to the radio and enjoyed the peace and quiet. He didn't even hear the undead. "I like it when the undead aren't near." he said.

Adrea finished eating then said "It is nice when your not trying to fight them off."

He finished as well. "Yeah, just having time to relax. I sometimes feel like this is gods way of getting back at me for how I lived my life." he said. "I haven't been a saint at all, far from, I only had a change in heart when I realized that I was wasting my life away, I was mentally a zombie, doing the smae stupid things over and over again, the playing in the band was all that wasen't stupid, I basically wrecked my body with drugs to the point where I had to be put into rehab, twice."

Adrea nodded and listened to what he was saying then said "Well at least you got another chance, unlike some of the other people who have gone threw it."

"Yeah, I was even in cardiac arrest for a little bit at one point, can't remember what for though. But I'm trying my best to fix things. I am lucky, I am still human, and have a chance to live a new life, ever since I had to kill my friends I learned to just love the simple things and kindness can go a long way, something I didn't know back then. That happens to at least half the bands in the world, the behind the performance things."

Adrea just sat and lsitened, she knew that she was learning a lot about him which was a good thing so that she knew who she was traveling with.

"Damn, I have to stop thinking about the past, I'm in the present." he said. When he thought of the past it made him feel emotionally confused and he just became apathatic to stop from showing any embarrassing emotions.

Adrea smiled and kept quiet, she didn't really know why he had said that so there was nothing that she could say back to him.

He was quiet for a couple of minutes trying to keep his thoughts to the present and the goal that needed to be reached.

Adrea looked out the window and listened to the radio.
