Adopt-a-Yan visits the Desert, come lives with the Daria Yanaties!

Dear Yan adoption headquarters,
Here is where I will chronical Yan's amazing adventures in the 105+ degree heat! I know you'll read through our adventures and KNOW that he belongs out here, in the sun, baking....

Today Yan is going with Daria to the AZ home and garden show. There should be waters there, foodstuffs, possibiliy animals, spinny chairs and hopefully some nifty flowery shorts!

There may be boobs there too...But Daria is worried, they may be super old and saggy....Still, ze listy says Boobs, it didn't say what age!

Day 1

Look, Yan made it safely to the Home and garden show!

LOOK! Yan found his favorite thing at the very front door! FREE! Daria and Yan logged onto the Facebook page to get our free! (2) We won a half off discount to the next show. I don't exactly know how that is a free...It seems more like a less to me...Oh well, onward on Yan's hunt to find some free with Daria!

One of the first booths we stopped at was super amazing! This nice man gave us lots of FREE! It started with a free bag (3)

Then, he liked Yan soooo much he gave Yan food (candy) and toys (a squishy football)!

After that, he was sooo in love with my Yan, he let Yan spin the wheel of FREE! Yan won Daria 2 free years of air conditioner maintenance! This way Yan will be able to stay nice and cool in doors!

After that, we went to the local power company booth, and they gave Yan Free energy efficient light bulbs!

This nice booth runner was kind enough to let Yan help him cook! He even let Yan nibble on some hard boiled eggs after the slicing and dicing was over:) Cooking and Free, how can you go wrong?

Daria helped Yan rest up a bit before attempting more Home and Garden show. Here's Yan keeping nice and cool by a SUPERSIZED fan. (8)

This nice lady gave Yan a FREE estimate on getting the backyard all fixed up! She just knew all Yan's like free (and girls). (9)

Surprisingly, we found no boobs worth mentioning, and no flowery shorts. I guess the snowbirds were all somewhere much cooler today.

When we got home, it was time to do some cleaning. Knowing that Yan doesn't like to walk, he was given a choice of a different chore...He has to help clean just like any child in a responsible household. Here is Yan helping with the vacuuming. I think he liked the spinny!

Day 2

Every child needs to explore their imagination in order to grow up to be a happy successful adult. Today Daria brought Yan out some dress up stuffs to play with. Here you can see Yan's creativity grow with his dress up stuffs!

Next, Daria and Yan cooked some yummies! Notice Yan had to stay behind a nice glass protector. It's not safe for babies to be around stovetops without proper safety precautions!
First, Yan and Daria put in yummy turkey sausage (since pork is not KOSHER little Yan will now be pork free!)

Next, Yan helped to add mushrooms and onions

Finally, after adding tomato and tomato sauce, some seasoning, and spaghetti squash, we have healthy non-carby spaghetti! Yum? (17)

Day 3

Today, Yan got to go to one of his favorite places, the grocery store!

As usual, Yan tried to get into mischief by following Uncle Insomniac's love of Motorcycles. Of course, babies do NOT ride motorcycles, so that was stopped immediately!

Yan then wanted to take a ride around the store in this nifty contraption. He is too young to drive, so he had to sit in the front of the cart instead.

Yan than found one of his favorites...Meat.

And more meat, this time from a BIG cow!

As Yan will need to be in a Jewish family, he got a look at some nice Jewish foodstuffs.

These black and orange swirly cup cake holders made him think of his friend Captain Howdy!

Yan then snuck off and played with his friends Ben and Jerry!

Yan and Daria's adventure at the grocery ended with a surprising find. Headcheese!

Day 4

Sadly, Daria's air broke today. It was hot, so Daria let Yan play.

First he played with some Manga

Next he cooled down by playing in Daria's house's little pond.

Finally Yan played with Daria's boobs.

Day 6

As today was Yan's last day with Daria for sure, she took him out to lunch with her new coworkers. Here's Yan with his favorite...Coffee.
