Maybe don't scrap the dress, but someone can give you tips on how to move it in the right direction.

Xuv. I'm using GIMP it's an opensource photoshop type program.
Mew: I'll probably just redo it. The only thin I like about it was the shoulder bow. It's an easy sillohette to recreate. And with a reference next time will go much better.

GIMP. I believe there is a kind of magic wand selection tool?
Tick off continguos, anti alias.
Tolerance = 1.

The pixel is right in the middle of the boots near the knee part.

Xuv this is what I'm looking at on my screen with background @400%

the only pixels I'm seeing in that area are one that is part of the base's leg. And a highlight on the boot. nothing between them. :?

The background is black because I got tired of the hot pink background XD I change the background color periodically.
I found it!! It was a semi-transparent pixel. I learned my lesson to not use the paintbrush tool. XD

It is fun, like stray pixel hunting! XD
yep, semi transparent is the right word. That is one devil, seemed to be like 10% opacity.

There we go! Should be no strays left!

One more stripe on the shirt, and more shading. Eh it doesn't look right now. :<

Yep, no more strays.

About your tshirt.
There are 2 things I would like to point out.
1. the stripe are too straight, it should follow body curve. Giving it a varying width would be more natural.
2. Working with pattern, you can refer to kawaiihannah's website. since you are using Gimp, you can do layers.

Hannahnah's previous site design has this awesome waterfall background... it is so detail and sparkly, I am regretting now that I didn't save it. D:
It is the green scene you can see at the background in the box.

That nifty color thing is all Xuvrette's hard work. I believe she posted it so we could work better with Mene's existing color pallets. I gave her credit in my initial post, and I have seen other users post it as well.

I'm glad you liked the design and had such a positive dream! The dress is actually based off a dress I wore to a winter formal at university. I hope to get a good reference picture once I find my dress so I can re-work the pixels.

I know. There is this other thread by Kirin, right in this subforum. XD
I felt I was like... not detected as xuvy or whatever variation Mariaria called me.

I found myself confused and neglected, then I end up laughing. XD

Hey Xuv. What do you think about the idea of keeping with the cowboy theme? Like if I made chaps and a hat?

Nah, I did my research on cowboy theme and found many different elements that I didn't end up using.
Like the hat, could be different, the shirt, the vest, the pants, different variety.
I think you can complete a set without any resemblance to mine.

I was thinking almost a more modern cowboy look. Yours is a very classic cowboy vs indian look.
And I think people could have a lot of fun with chaps. XD

chaps? what is chaps?

Oh, that is Indian look? I don't know. I just google images. XD lazy me.
Then I pick up element, mix and match.

I so so like to see the swirly designs around other pieces though!
How does a modern cow boy look like?
