Well, at least I'm not the only one.

Ha ha. Yes. Once I was in this workshop where we did those INTJ personality tests. I was an I something or other and I is Introverted. They put all of us Is in a group together and...we got so loud together. Gatherings of shy people can get pretty interesting. Never underestimate us! It's always the quiet ones that surprise you. ^_^

Lejic: I know a few places will let you take those tests online. My professor/boss used to like for us to take them so we could see which people were most compatible with each other.

Well, for what it's worth; every single really good artist I've know was incredibly kind. If they're rude like that, you don't need their art anyway. u_u <3

Oh and; the only time avatars are an issue, I think, is when they're overloaded. I personally never dislike drawing simplistic avatars since that's my style as well. I do usually ask people to take one or two things off if their avatar is too complicated though. >_>;

Well i mean, yes for the most part most artist are very nice.i mean look at me
im doing cookie art for gaia cuz the silly gal has none over there [silly gal haha]
but sometimes you run into that artist who has gotten so much prasie
that it goes to their heads.
and then it just goes down from there.i have seen it happen.

But i mean when we say we get over looked and ignored i mean
im sure they aren't doing it on purpose but at the same time
its frustrating to see the same people get art from the same people for free
and you pop in in hopes of getting some and you get ignored.
it throws your self-esteem out the window. you know?

and when it comes to that overly fabulous art everyone puts so much attention on them
that people whos art isn't as good or cant make it as good [i have that problem i don't color and i have no scanner so i have to improvise]
have trouble getting their art noticed and it get drained out. you know?
thats the big that irritates me more when it comes to art online.
if it isnt colored to the T and all that no one wants it.

and the avatar thing i have seen people get turned away becuase they had simple avatars and when they stated it was all they had the artist didnt care.
it was very rude.

And Nemui; I have seen corrupted artists like that but honestly none that I really respected. Take bara-chan for example: she's ridiculously internet-famous and she's still the sweetest girl. The 'success got to their head' people, often, are not incredibly talented, at least in my experience and point of view. <3

but it is sad when they get corrupted,.

wow Meyna your really good, awesome art i have ever seen

i'm kinda timid and apprehensive going in but i always post saying something like i hope you choose me to draw art of, or say if they choose me to have it in a certain colour or way, some have slots and you just have to be there at the right time, other have lotteries/raffles so you have to choose your numbers quickly and so on just read the first post and just be sure to compliment the artist they love to hear feedback from people

i have gotten lucky with this event i just hope i get this lucky with every event from now on

oh and another thing chat to the artist, they make these threads to make friends and give joy to those who love art

so if you want to make new friends and you love art, then just chat with the artist and you never know you could have free art in no time

Oh yes. Yes, I feel that way all the time. Especially when they've gone so many pages. I keep thinking, "Their poor hands! All that drawing..." And so I stay away altogether. ):
