Good afternoon all!

I finally made it to the event :)


Had a busy weekend - Friday night I went to happy hour with co-workers and ended up staying out until almost 10pm.

Saturday I did yard work - ripped up the front lawn, mixed in compost, and scattered seeds (fingers crossed the flowers actually grow for me)

Saturday night I went out for my brother's bachelor party - we spent most of the night a Woody's, where the drinks are strong and they have man candy >.< It was quite a night.

Yesterday i made pancakes for my brother and the rest of us - then did laundry and random house stuff - and then I met up with my brothers, significant others, and my parents for my Mom's surprise birthday dinner at Casablanca - everyone seemed to like the place and my mom liked her Topper's Spa gift certificate.

All in all I would say a busy, but successful weekend.

My brother that is visiting from Texas is probably coming over my house tonight to stay and Thursday I have the rehearsal dinner for Christopher's wedding, Friday I have an early afternoon nail appointment, then I have to get to the hotel to check in, then to my Mom's house to get ready for the wedding.

Man time is flying!


Anyway - this was all a very long winded hello! :lol:

Not too long winded, kind of sounds busy like most weekends. But at least you had fun right?

Getting really excited about the fact that May is coming up so dang quickly.

I'm sure your seeds will grow something, especially from the sounds of what you did. Sounds like it will be beautiful.

Dont forget the Miracle Grow!! My dad swears by that stuff. He used to use it on his rose bush, and it was gorgeous every year

I have to agree with Jess on this one. Miracle grow does wonders. XD There were tulips in my garden that I didn't know about, and then some that I planted with some miracle grow, the ones I planted were at least twice as tall as the ones that were just there. That stuff is amazing. and the leaves on the one I planted still look much healthier then the ones with out it. >.>

we use that stuff too on our plants ... love it!!!

Sia, may is when I go out to see Fflur in NC. It's coming up so quickly. Thankfully, I don't have to make my first car payment until the 2 of June. Might be time to get that second job been talking about. Pay the car off quicker, less money spent on the interest of the loan.

Thanks Rue. This relationship is wicked scary because I'm still fragile from the break-up with Danni a couple years ago. But El is just so amazing. She really makes me happy, and we have so much fun together, while at the same time having a lot of emotion for and between eaach other.
