So gather up that playlist, blare some atmospheric tunes and stay awhile. Maybe even exchange some of your favorite tunes with me, I love sampling new music to work by. Who knows, you might wind up thinking of a piece you might want me to do to a particular song!

4-22-09: After some deliberation due to my less than stellar amount of participation in the site and my dwindling orders, I decided to put my shop on hiatus for awhile and now to revamp it entirely.

I'll be removing the majority of what I'm offering and I think it will be more of a get a particular style while you can sort of deal rather than offering them all at any given time. It'll just make things more fun and relaxing for me.

So let the revamp begin, my darlings~

|2| Flaming or rude behavior are not tolerated. If I see it I will ask you to leave. And trust me, I have some friends who'll probably be more willing to tell you to gtfo long before me.
|3| I don't do freebies unless it's stated in the freebie post, so please don't ask for them. Most of the time I am too busy to do them.
|4| Prices, when listed, are non-negotiable if presented in pure. I may be willing to haggle a little if it's an item offer, though.
|5| I reserve the right to cancel commissions if the need arises. I'm sorry, but real life takes precedence, I will always let you know beforehand and I am likely to give you the option of waiting or canceling. Refunds are ALWAYS given.
|6| I reserve creative liberties with the art.
|7| These are subject to change at any time.

As you might have guessed by both the title and the brief introduction in the first post, I'm not going to be running things like I normally do. I'm going back to something I did a long time ago (as in a few years ago on Gaia when I still did a lot of art there). It's really fun for me and I hope interesting, though unpredictable, for you.

You see, I take a great deal of mood setting, pleasure and inspiration from music. Even more so if I get to look up new music. I cannot function without it, not after having grown up with a father who DJed in a nightclub until I was sixteen. I figured I'd use that quality here.

So, what's going to happen is you are going to tell me a song to draw by. You won't have any control over what comes out in the image, it's entirely up to what ideas I get by listening to the song; this may be from the lyrics themselves, the tone of the music itself or whatever random image happens to strike my mind as I listen. It's a game of chance, so choose your song wisely.



Here I'll go step by step in how this works, to clear any confusion.

|1| Choose your song. Hopefully it's something I have or that I can find easily. I do not use things like limewire or any of that, so if I can't find it then I will go by lyrics alone unless you decide to give me another one to go by (I'll let you know if I have it or can't find it).

|4| When confirmed, please send the trade. I will not confirm the trade until I am complete. This is important, if I do not see the trade I will not start your art until I do. You have 3 days to start it or I will cancel your request.
|5| Receive art, confirm trade.

Okay, here's a bit of a step two on how things will be working.

Every so often, and this could be every few weeks, months or dare I even say every few days depending on my mood, I will be changing up the style of art that I'm offering. It is one thing to pursue a certain type of art for the practice of technique in my own endeavors or RL commissions. It's another to keep doing the same thing on a forum site. I've done that for way too long and it just burns me out.

So from now on, whenever I have the odd urge to experiment in a new style I will be changing up the samples and what I'm offering. That means the price will be changing as well, depending on what I'm willing to do and how large.

I will always accept pure (a girl's gotta grow her wardrobe, after all). Oftentimes I'll be happy to accept female commons that I don't have. They will be valued at 50% of the store price. I will also accept CIs and EIs, depending on interest. They are to be valued at mid price-guide to be fair to both sides.

And here we are to what you're probably wanting to look at first, ha. Here is that over-glorified post without which this shop could not run :'D

Right now I will be offering quick pencil busts. It would be nice to try and work on expanding my palette of expressions and working to make the features of characters more individualistic.

These are not meant to be clean, hence the low price. ^^

When it comes down to it, I am a bit of a music whore, ha ha. Trust me, I have loads of it and what I don't have I will go look up just on the whim of someone suggesting it. There isn't a huge chance of me not being able to pull something out of a song you give me.

I listen to anything from classical to stuff on the radio to things in the clubs and all the way back again. I enjoy rock, nu metal, 80s, industrial, trance, progressive house, pop etc. It doesn't really matter. Language is also no barrier, I have things in English, Spanish, Latin, German, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Korean and a handful of other languages I can't quite remember at the moment.

The only things I tend to stray from are reggae, country and the vast majority of rap. Some hip hop and R&B is alright, but they aren't as apt to really get me going like others might.
