Yes - it's a bit slower. *smiles* But if you have proper greenhouses and hothouses, there can be something blooming every day of the year. Unnaturally, of course. ^^;

Exactly - I always like having flowers around my house in summer, especially lilacs. But I just don't have the means to keep fresh flowers all year round. :(

I'd love to have more greenhouses in my area, but the winters are just too harsh. Most people are too concerned about the ice and snow to even think about flowers.
