Lately I go by… Samantha Walters But you can call me Sam I guess.

I can’t lie about my age… I’m 28 if you must know.

Looks aren’t everything… My appearance has changed so often that I barely recognize myself in the mirror anymore. My latest “makeover” has left me with wavy blonde hair that just barely dusts my shoulders. My eyes are green now, thanks to a pair of contacts, and a pair of dorky glasses completes the look.

According to the feds… I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Tennessee. My parents were both farmers. As for myself I’ve traveled around; done a bit of this and that. I recently moved to The Big City from Taunton, Massachusetts. And if that story doesn’t make me sound like a enough of a loser, I’ve yet to be in any serious relationships. Want the real story? Sorry, I’m not at leisure to disclose any details…

I doubt we’ll really get to know each other but… I’m a far cry from the loving, yet timid, woman I used to be. Each new placement reveals to me something new about myself. One day I’d love to settle down and have a peaceful life in a quiet town but for now that’s not an option. I may seem secluded but I assure you it isn’t personal; I have my reasons…

These are some of my favorite things…

• Jogging – This really helps me clear my mind.
• Coffee – I really couldn’t live without it.
• My trusty headphones – They’re best way not to have to talk to people.

I really don’t like these things much…

• Romance movies/books – I gave up on this shit a long time ago…
• Alcohol/depressants – I need to keep my head clear if I’m going to keep my story straight.
• Pickles – Seriously, who likes these anyway?

Anything else… You may laugh at the size of my handbag but seriously, this thing is my life. I never know when the feds might relocate me. I’m not materialistic but there are a few things in there I’d rather not part with.

Personality

Kat is outspoken and unafraid to say what's on her mind. She isn't afraid of what others think of her and does whatever makes her happy. She always puts friends first and foremost however and loves to do little things to show them how special they are to her. Kat holds a soft spot for children and often goes out of her way to speak with them. She also loves to party when the urge strikes her but on the flip side also enjoyed evenings alone with just her and the telly.

Biography

During their middle school years, Kat and Girl 1 were inseparable. Kat was an only child and Girl 1 took the place of the sister that she had always wanted. After entering high school, Kat became rebellious, frustrated with her parents and their controlling ways. No matter how much trouble she got herself into however, Kat knew that Girl 1 would always be on her side. Her grades suffered miserably during her last few years of school and any dreams that Kat had for medical school slipped away. If it wasn't for Girl 1, Kat would have quit school but her friend managed to convince her to stick it out.

Shortly after graduation, Kat found out she was pregnant and married her high school sweetheart Trevor as was proper. About halfway through her pregnancy however she was rushed to the hospital where she prematurely gave birth to a stillborn child. Completely torn from her dreams of motherhood, Kat spiraled into a dark period of depression. With her husband unable to deal with her, Girl 1 was Kat's only source of comfort and they spoke on the phone on a near daily basis.

Eventually Kat took some cooking classes at her mother's suggestion and found an anchor in the daily activities of shopping and preparing for meals. As some semblance of normality returned to her life, Kat started a cooking blog which gathered quite a following. Eventually she began making money off of it and it looked like things were starting to look up in her life. Her husband remains distant but Kat hopes that eventually they may be able to rekindle the love they once had for each other...

Bio: Sam was in her first year at the university when the first rumors escaped or a virus that rendered its victims psychotic and violent. It hardly felt real at first however and the university only took minimal precautionary measures. After the first incident on campus however, all hell broke loose. Parents recalled their children back home and Sam's were no exception. She didn't even get the chance to finish packing her bags before her father showed up and dragged her out to the minivan where her mother and sister waited. The plan was to ride out the coming storm at their summer cabin secluded in the woods. For the first two years, things were relatively calm, if not boring, until her father hurt himself in a hunting accident. In the end he succumbed to infection, leaving behind his wife and two daughters. After that, their mother insisted on seeking out safety in numbers. The remnants of their possessions were packed into the minivan and they made their way to the nearest quarantine city where they joined hundreds of other lost souls seeking the safety that could only be found behind concrete walls and military defenses.
Personality: Since the death of her father, Samatha has lost some of her playful/joyful nature. Now she does what she can to ensure the safety of their family.
Other: Samantha's glasses are her most prized possession. Without them she stands little to no chance of survival and she guards them with the utmost care.

Bio: Living in New York City the past few years, Chloe's 9-5 dead end job sucks the life out of her day in and day out. The only solstice from her disappointing reality comes in the form books. She loves to lose herself in dreamy romances and thrilling adventures to distract herself from the fact that her life isn't what she had dreamed it would be. Ten years ago she imagined herself moving to the city, starting her dream job, and finding the man of her dreams. Personality: Since moving to the city she's become a slave of routine and lives her life on autopilot. She isn't particularly shy but usually doesn't go out of her way to talk to strangers either and usually prefers to stay in on the weekends rather than go out. When reading she becomes intensely caught up in the story and tends to lose track of time and everything else around her. She can get annoyed when interrupted in the middle of the page.
