Welcome to the Desert Winds Caravan-Artist Auction 2.0!

The auction was made in order to raise money to fund our User-Run event of 2014. The success of the first one convinced us to do another auction, using new and old artists! The auction will open up May 17, at 9pm CST and end on May 19, at 9pm CST. For a clock to see what time it is now in the CST, click here. As the title would suggest, we are holding a public sale for art commissions by various artists! Each artist has information on the kind of commission they are willing to make, so please take a look at their specifications before bidding. At the end of the auction, all proceeds made will be donated to the User-Run Event Fund. We hope to have an amazing URE this year!

If you come across any problems or have any questions, do not hesitate to ping Libra or Steelmagghia to your post in this thread.

• B I D D E R S
  • Auto-buy is available for most artists. The cost is 20,000
  • No mule-bidding, main accounts only please.
  • Do not edit your bid posts, as we want to make sure that the time for your post is accurate, and so we can more easily see who's bid was posted 1st.
  • No bids will be accepted before the official auction start post, nor after the official auction end post.
  • Payment is due within 48 hours of the auction end time.
  • Chatting is welcome in between bids.
• A R T I S T S
  • Once we have confirmed that payment has been received from the winning bidder, we will ask you to contact them immediately about their commission.
  • We ask you to finish the winner's piece as soon as possible. We'd prefer it to be within 2 weeks. Up to 1 month is still acceptable, though keep the winning bidder aware of the delay.
  • We would like to see you around the auction thread once it is created (though it is not required), sometimes the bidders like to ask you questions.

• We accept pure + items for payment.
• Items will be accepted at current average market value.
• The current value of any items you give will deduct gold from how much you owe our treasurer (Steelmagghia).
• If you are unable to pay within 48 hours of the auction end time, then the next highest bidder will win the artist.
• If you Auto-buy an artist, you can send your payment in earlier.

• Only bid with gold. Do not list items you are planning on using as payment in your bid form.
• Use the specific artist's form for your bid, unless you are auto-buying someone. Then use the Auto-buy form further down.
• Minimum bid increment of 50G, and keep it divisible by 50.
• Do not edit your form with a higher gold amount, each new bid amount requires a new form.
• Remove the space after the "@" sign in order to ping the appropriate host.
• If you forgot to fix the ping in your form, simply make a new post with a link to your bid.
