Teagan left the docks with a fish in the cooler, one of the captains had decided to pay him in fish and not money today. Which normally would have ticked him off but today he was pretty content on eating a nice salmon dinner for a change. He worked on the west side of the island in a small sea port, moving boxes and shipping crates with either his hands or a forklift. He liked the job simply because no one asked questions about him they were happy to pay him for the job and then walk away. Teagan marched toward his tiny apartment that faced over the very dock he worked. He was to go home sit around, make dinner sleep and then get up and go work. It had been his daily routine since he moved there from the state after the incident. He was fine with living this life and dying he really had wished that it had been him that day. Looking up at the dull blue sky Teagan’s green eyes seemed a teal color as he watched a seagull fly by. Once at his apartment building he stopped before entering the main court yard. He was going to need something to eat with the fish, he never kept his fridge stocked. He turned and walked toward down. The man was tall and stood out a little compared to all the people of this country. He was a good 6’3’’ when most where maybe 5’6’’ here and he hated the attention he received for it. People would stop and look at his brown hair green eyes and height. Ignoring two school girls who were giggling and pointing at him he pushed his way into the super market to find some simple rice.
