I'm no good at the games, I can’t buy things online, my art sucks, I don't write, I have nothing to sell, nor do I have clothes to dress up in for the admin's outfit choice award, and no one replies to my role play posts. What do I do? I’m still really confused. It’s like your FAQ helped, but not really. I’m still so confused. It’s not that I don't get it, it's just that... it seems like the only way for me to make money is to lurk, and that's not even allowed. I’m so confused! Can you help me?

Lurking is allowed, you just won't earn any gold from it. ^^;

Almost everything you said applies to me as well, I just earn gold little by little from posting around. :3 When I was involved in several different threads where I posted often, I actually made a lot of gold each day. Even if you don't have any marketable talent or able to buy things online, you can still earn money by just talking in threads.

And even if you aren't good at the games, you still earn gold trying. ^^

Asteriods is the best game for gold earning. I get about 10-18 whenever I usually play it. :)

Ugh..I thought this looked kinda like gaiaonline but this is much more confusing..
Is there like a marketplace, where you can sell stuff, like gaia?? If there is where is it?? I have been searching all over..

The complete user guide is a work in progress, but there are a number of other guides explaining aspects of the site (such as the software guide) or with information for newbies.

We don't currently have a marketplace, but there is an exchange forum where you can make a thread to buy and sell things. Be warned that you're allowed only one exchange thread.

Thanks this helped me alot. i was really confused about this and other things on menewsha and although i am still a little confused this did clear up some things, thanks to your help i think i can start earning gold right away (and maybe buy somthing to wear) i though it was odd that you start off naked on most similar sites you get a starter set at least but i shall still have fun earning gold and once again thanks alot :)

Something makes /sense/ to me! =D Someone told me to join Menewsha, and being the obitent person I am (Unless it includes working! xP) I went ahead and joined...I didn't really know what I was supposed to do until a read this! xD I had been playing snake (which I am really bad had) for that past few hours when I decided -- This isnt working.

If you dont mind me saying so...I say Gaiaonline has a better set up and every other site that is like Gaia is all like that stuff is so not worth the gold..But the starter sets are great and starting out with a little gold helps when your new so you feel that you can but cheap clothes or start building up from that little bit of gold you have and the way you can get gold just by clicking around is cool to..You can do alot on gaia.Thank you for reading that is if anyone dose.

We appreciate your feedback. ^^ We decided that we won't give out starter gold or items since it's better for people to earn their own outfits. There are some really cheap items anyways, so you can cloth yourself pretty quickly if you post a lot your first day. Games also make it a lot easier.

Menewsha is much more geared community than Gaia, so we like to reword people for being active rather than just lurking. But we realize it doesn't appeal to everyone.
