This..... poem is actually supposed to be a song. It is also another thing we had to do in English. Btw it's kind of gay :oops:



It’s lonely in my saddle since my horse died yesterday
I didn’t have him for very long, I only got him in May
I think he died of leukaemia, but what can I say?
My brother thinks I killed him, when I fed him his hay

We were at a market one day when I first saw him
My father said I could keep the horse if I could pay for him
I paid with the money I had from collecting tins
I only regretted buying him when he kicked me in the shin

We had a glorious time together, riding through the farm
We even went to the beach when the water was calm
I still remember the time when I nearly broke my arm
I never knew he could cause such harm

is like a homicidal sponge

squeezing life into a newly born creature
yet absorbing life back
killing another

if you squeeze your sponge,
feelings may drain away,
yet if you squeeze too hard,
your happiness may just trickle away…

Bullying Poem

When you`re getting picked on
And you start to feel blue
Don`t let that bully get you down
Here`s what you can do

Find someone to talk to
A parent or a friend
Let them know the problem
They will help you till the end

Find a thing you like doing
And forget those horrid things
Or even write how you feel
It will help to soothe your soul

Make yourself stay optimistic
Stand up straight and tall
Focus on the things you do well
And you won`t feel small

Try to ignore the bully
With hope he will go away
If he starts to get violent
Then make sure you have your say

Hang around with friends
Who offer encouragement and support
They will help you through the tough times
And stick around no matter what

Will all the support from your friends
You can’t have a mean bully bring you down
So if I were you
I’d turn that frown upside down!
