I think my school was one of those weird schools where it was considered cool to be smart and people would judge you based on your grades.
Thanks for the hugs, But actually that was a long time ago now, shows how old I am.

High school was fun for me. the school was big enough that I didn't have to deal with people if I didn't want to. I spent a good bit of it either in the science wing or in the art department.
I'm sorry you had to deal with bullies.

Oh, yeh. I mean majority of students at my school wanted to do well study-wise, there were some who didn't care about grades and it was usually these kids that dropped out before the two years which count towards getting into university.
I wanted to do well, and get into university (which I eventually did) but the pressure to do so was stressful to deal with at times, especially towards the end of the year when there'd be major assignments and exams to study for.
Plus even though we had school uniforms there was still that peer pressure to be popular, good looking and social too.
For anyone who wasn't smart or attractive in the eyes of the rest of the students, school life was hard. And yes people got bullied still. I was one of them.

Our school was rather small. And i got bullied because of the fact that I'm Gay. But i didn't really care about it. Since i had my own friends and I were rather popular in school, even tho i was bullied.

I never understood why people bullied others. I've always had a live and let live mentality. It was only when people were jerks to me that I was ever a jerk back.

Yeah I'm gay.
Well, some people seem to think that it's a decease of some kind. But now, I don't get bullied anymore. I've a lot of friends. And most of the people in this town know that I'm gay.

Thanks Poet, I'm not 100% sure, the bullying I endured was more the backstabbing and rumour spreading type, rather than physical, violent or direct verbal in your face type. But i think it was because I was depressed (emo), deemed unattractive by some due to the way I presented myself at the time and the fact that i was bigger than most, and I was considered weird.

Bullies should die. D:
I mean for me it doesn't matter what people look like, what they like or anything else as soon as I just like the person.

@ Ling - Psh embrace that weirdness!
Bigger? Meh... one of poet's friends was 2-3 times bigger than poet. He was a cool guy so I see no reason why anyone would be mean to him (granted he's like 6 ft 4... so maybe that was why...

Oh, I've always been considered weird by my peers, I still had friends though, lost a few along the way through my high school years though. I've never minded being weird, just I didn't like that I was bullied with that being part of the reason.
And when i say big I mean overweight big, not really tall and with every body part in proportion big.
