A lot of people think that the holidays (christmas/new years etc) are the best time of the year. What do you like about them? What is your family's traditions when it comes to Christmas etc. What is your holidays like where you live? What did you get for Christmas this year?
Here in New Zealand, our Christmas is really different to what we see on TV and sing about in carols. We are in the Southern Hemisphere, meaning our Christmas is in the summer! As I got older, Christmas became less about getting presents and more about giving presents and family. Oh, and the FOOD. Our tradition is, we wake up, have breakfast and then open our presents. We then have a huge Christmas lunch and then proceed to spend the rest of the day watching terrible Christmas TV (it's the same every year). For New Years, we usually have a dinner and stay up to watch the new year in. Sometimes we don't do anything, I don't really make a deal over the new year.
For Christmas this year I got a dressing gown, a lamp and Pajamas. All stuff I didn't need. But I got $70, so I bought stuff I needed with that!

Nah, I find it rude >.< I just pretend I like them. Though I must admit, the pj top and dressing gown was nice. I have been trying to use the lamp as much as possible too XP

This year Christmas didn't feel like Christmas... I had a good time during that evening and the first half of the day, but after a while it just seemed lonesome... As if something was missing and it was... Joy...
To me, Christmas is a depressing time of year... This year was so far the worst I can remember...
I'm hoping New Years will be better. Even just slightly... That'd be nice.

I hope so, too. At least with the health part... Haven't been feeling completely well since winter started. Not blaming the weather for it, however. But it could be stress related... Not going to worry about that, though. Probably nothing serious.

not feeling good can add stress.
no one needs that.

Not really... Stress can also cause pain as well which isn't fun either... I've been looking up ways to help calm me down after a stressful day at work, but so far I haven't found anything yet besides tea... And keeping my mind occupied with something only works for so long.
At least I haven't gone insane yet. :P

I got the most Christmas presents I've ever received this year out of any year I've been alive and that's because it's my first year as a teacher and my kids got me SO...MUCH...STUFF. O///O I was like "WHOA" I needed four trips to carry all of it out to my car XDDD It was really sweet of them!!
