I'm quietly lolling right now because no-one's posted in the other threads yet. People seem scared to make the first move in a new forum, they all wait for someone else to say something first xD

I think I enjoy Ava more than other sites (besides my beloved Menewsha), because when it's got a great owner -- it just makes things much more enjoyable. Bobbi is really spunky and friendly. And I like that. :)

Nope, you don't get to. It was something the Admin did. Both she and I did it to one particular person, on here and over there. He just about had a fit when he saw what we'd done xD

Well, I joined. I dunno, the avatars don't really do it for me though they're kind of poster style. As in on the wall, not in the forum. The forums seem okay though. I don't have that much time for another forum but I'll keep the account active.

Don't forget that Ava is getting new avatar bases soon along with items being redrawn and a new avatar/shop system. n_n That's like, soon soon. And I think I know what you're saying about "poster style". That'll be different... maybe sooner than the avatars and new programming. ;D

And the name comes from the comic the site is based on (the country it takes place in, all the countries are named after the 7 sins). It doesn't really promote Avarice at all. Most everyone is extremely giving and willing to help, at least from what I've seen. We were gonna do a name change, but it just didn't seem right after everyone had become accustomed to Avaricia for so long. We all just call it Ava anyway. :D

There's a thread where the new bases where being posted/discussed/edited somewhere. I was hopefully helpful with some crits :sweat: Bobbi didn't throw anything at me, anyway xD
I honestly like the current bases, they look real instead of doll-like, and the female ones look like proper women. Plus, my avie is pretty ^^

Zaoki, they're not changing much. You won't sign in one day and find they look entirely different or anything :)

Unless they've changed a lot more since, THIS is pretty much what the reworked female base will look like. Bobbi said a while back that there'd be different poses coming along at some point too (as I whined about losing the nicely lady-like pose that the girl's have now)

Though I'm sure she'll post in here soon enough herself and calm your fears :)

I've seen the new bases and I am excited for new eyes and facial features, etc. I am sad to lose the lady-like stance. I also like the maturity of the bases.
