They are absolutely adorable, Salvie! :D
Have you seen the documentary where they did an experiment to see if foxes could be domesticated as dogs were after many generations of selective breeding, and it turned out they could?

Sorry for my absence, my moods have been a bit weird lately.
I will assure you I am doing my orders. Though I might do them out of order, I hope that is okay?

B'aww. I love the idea of domesticated foxes. It depends tho- I'm not entirely sure I trust humans with breeding projects, just because of what we've done to certain dogs. x___o;

The way they id it, was that they picked out the friendliest fox of the litters, had them mate, and did the same thing over and over. Soon, the foxes became super friendly and even wagged their tails. Their fur and eyes also changed color. This was because they were not living in the wild and therefore didn't need to camouflage with the terrain. Their eyes turned blue, their fur white and sometimes white and brown markings,etc.
Such a cool film [es]

But, yes, things like the Liger should have never been done, it's just so wrong,

B'aww. That sounds adorable.

I don't know much about the liger, so I can't comment on it. But I know that certain dogs are bred to have terrible health problems because they "look better" that way.

A liger is the offspring of a lion and a tiger. I thought it was accidental.

o___o I wonder if ligers are unhealthy. I mean, mules- or is it donkeys? are the offspring of whatever and a horse, and they seem okay.

I just googled apparently there is speculation that they suffer health issues, but apparently this is false. It says a liger is as healthy as any other lion or tiger.

Huh. Then good for the liger.

I'm trying to imagine what circumstances would allow for a liger to be born tho. I mean- I guess they're both cats? But the mane is pretty noticable. xD

there was white ligers born in myrtle beach because they had a white tigress and white lion together apparently and they had 4 white liger cubs. They grow to be huge lol.

... Oops? xD;;

Isn't it dangerous to keep big cats together? I know lions live in packs, but tigers are solitary.

I don't really know much about. I would of thought so. Unless they put them together intentionally. I can't imagine a tiger being thrilled about a lion taking a tigress for em lol.. Or a lioness allowing a tigress to be with a lion. They are dominant animals right? I'm not educated enough to know that's just me assuming of course .

I... don't really know. xD;; I can see how a male lion might decide, "Okay, that looks close enough." and be chill. But I can't imagine a tiger being too thrilled.

Liger was intentional, and ligers are unable to reproduce and though they may be somewhat healthy, they are oddly proportioned which causes some problems.
I saw this on Animal Planet long ago, so idk how accurate this info is for today.
But yeah, mules seem to be okay and can reproduce, it's all so weird how it can work for some species but not others! :y

Idk, I don't really support the idea of experimenting with the interspecies breeding

nah I don't either its kinda unnecessary. Would these people experimenting mind if we thought about breeding them with a gorilla in the name of science? I doubt it lol.

I'm not sure how I feel about it. What exactly was the scientific justification behind creating a liger?

I can't seem to find a reason as to why they where created lol apparently it only happens in captivity because naturally the animals wouldn't share habitats.
