Personality: Can be shy and withdrawn. But once you get to know him, he can be very talkative. He also has an no-nonsense attitude and will stand up for what he believes in. If someone is picking on one of his friends, he won't hesitate to stand up for them, even if it means getting in a fight.

Alex sighed as he sat on the bus to school. He really needed to get his own car. But first, he'd have to stop spending all the money he gets on pointless things. He leaned back in the seat and his gaze drifted to look out the window. Of course, none of his friends rode the bus with them. They either walked or drove.

Sure. He was offered a ride. But he didn't want to be a bother to them, so he politely declined. Which he regretted the second he took his seat on the bus. It was full of little kids yelling and screaming.

It was a relief when the bus finally pulled up in front of the school. Alex stood and exited the bus quickly before any child could get the chance to ask him another random, pointless question. He quickly escaped into the school building to the normal hum of teenage conversation going on around him.

Mr. Knight is probably one of the best teachers that the school has. All of his student in his class always pass. The prinpcal even asked him if he wanted to be the vice prinpcal but the students didnt want him to leave because they love being in his class.

Mr. Knight was in his classroom writing what the class was going to do for the day. Taking off his glasses he turns around and smiles to the class "Good Morning everyone"

"Morning Mr. Knight~" the girls in the said happily. It was so obvious that some of them had a crush on the teacher.
The guys in the class greeted him a little less enthusiasically. Not that they didn't enjoy the class.

"Did everyone have a good break?" Mr.Knight says leaning agianst his desk "Does anyone want to share before I start the class?"

The class nodded in agreement. Even though they did have a good break, they just didn't feel like sharing, even with a teacher they liked. Noone raised their hand to volunteer to share what they did over break.

"I guess thats a no then" He says grabbing some papers and starts passing them off to the class "This semster we're going to learning abot mythology. Can anyone tell me what that is?" he says writing it on the board.

The class glanced uncertaintly at each other.
Alex sighed and raised his hand slowly. "Mythology is a collection of traditional stories that express the beliefs or values of a group of people." he said.

"Nice job Alex" Mr.Knight says leaning against the front of the desk "Can anyone give me an example?"

'In Greek mythology,most gods were associated with specific aspects of life. For example, Aphrodite was the goddess of love and beauty, Ares was the god of war, Hades the god of the dead, and Athena the goddess of wisdom and courage." Alex said, because noone else seemed to know an answer.

"And that is correct Alex" Mr.Knight says writing the names on the board "Now everyone must know this one, who is the most powerful god? The one who rules all of the gods and goddesses"

"Zeus!" one girl exclaimed, raising her hand quickly before anyone else could. "Right?"

"Yes that is correct" He says writing Zeus name on the board with a lighting bult next to it "At the end of the next write we're going to have a test over all of the gods and goddesses so if I was you take really good notes"

With that, the class rummaged through bags to pull out notebooks and pencils for notes. If they were told to take notes, that must mean the test just might be hard.

Mr.Knight starts writing names of goddesses on the board. He points the the first one was Gaia "Now can anyone tell me who this goddess was?" He was only going to teach the class the major greek gods and goddesses since there was so many.

"The goddess Gaia was known as Earth or Mother Earth." Alex said, raising his hand. He was glad he read the book about Greek mythology over the summer.

"Nice job Mr. Mason" He says writing Mother Earth next to her name. Next her pointed to Hestia "Can anyone tell me who she is other then Alex"

(I just realized the weirdest thing. I'm actually taking a mythology class next semester in school.)

Alex lowered his head so his bangs could hide his face as some of his friend laughed lightly at him.
One of the girls slowly raised her hand. "Is she the goddess of home and hearth?" she asked, not completely sure.

(lol thats funny)

"Correct" He writes it down next to her name pointing next to Demeter

(XP yeah. By the time I actually get in class, I'll already know everything.)

This time a guy raised his hand. "That's the godess of plants and feritlity." he said, an air of confidence around him.

"Well thats another way to put it. But you can also say The Goddess of Harvest or Fields. Any of these three are fine" He says writing it on the board "Any questions so far?"

(lol true)

The class shook their heads. So far, it was easy enough to understand, but they wrote down the notes anyway for later refrences if needed.

He nodded and moved onto the next one. "Now who knows Hera?"

"She's the goddess of love and marriage." Alex said, lifting his head back up to look at the teacher.
