People just want to be remembered anyway. How do you live forever? Do something that gets you in text books. People might hate Hitler, like really really hate him, but he's immortal now. *shrugs* I get what you mean though. That reminds me of a Lupin the 3rd movie. One that had to do with a guy that lived forever, but it wasn't actually him, he was just making clones of himself so his DNA was living on but the real HIM had died hundreds of years ago. And then he just kinda passed on his knowledge. In a way, I guess you could say he was immortal but I think that a clone is a different person, some would argue that it's you.. but it's not you. Not to me anyway.
I see what you mean. Even if the clone is an exact replica of you, it's going to have experiences that you didn't have, and it won't have gone through everything you did. It may have your knowledge, and possibly memories, but what you felt while making those memories would be like a sort of echo to it. So it would be a you, but not the you :3
Yeah, I don't know if you can even call it a you. I mean, if something is created like that, would a clone have a soul? O_O makes me think of the movie The Island have you seen it? It's pretty interesting :P
Interesting movie. I guess... I can't really tell you anything about it without ruining the whole thing :XD I bet that people have already made human clones, like years ago.
Which clones? I mean, you never know. They were cloning sheep and monkeys, they make glowing puppies and kitties in korea, the neon fish are altered... I mean, why would they not clone a human, just cause they said they didn't? Yeah right. They are doing it. I bet they are...
Sadly enough, I think you're probably right. Just 'cause it's illegal, it doesn't mean someone, somewhere either has or is in the process of cloning a human being. We're so corrupt v.v
Yep. Just like the boyscout that made a nuclear reactor in his back yard... He did it accidentally/on purpose. He didn't think there was anything wrong with it when he was 12. So if a 12 year old can do that, then it's kind of like, you really can do anything you want to with enough research.
YOU SHOULD! You should just throw something in there and put it on a loop XD I mean, right now it seems like I'm doing the lines for the wife and she's got the husband... I'm kind of lost but if you just jump in, what could possibly go wrong :XD
The cat was black and white, but stayed out of sight. He hid well though he was both dark and bright. Poor little cat, both shadow and light, always conflicted with wrong from right.
Edit: OH, would appear that this thread is dead. D:
