I preordered BTS too. Just today actually. With a group on FB for the signed mwave albums. :)) I was just going to order on my own but mwave won't let you pick what color so I did the group order to make sure I get one pink and one white.

I'm meh on seventeen mostly because pledis is about to be bankrupt. They don't market after school or nu'est very well. Orange Caramel is their best group and they haven't won a music show yet.

I just wish pedis would focus on what they already have instead of making a new group (although they have been in training for like 4 years LOL). And Ming Ming was kicked out soooo :<

I'm one of those patient fans that waited a year for them to debut and probably won't see them again for another year if YG has his way. Hahaha

I don't know all the suju or SNSD members and my friends think it's unacceptable. I don't listen to either group so I don't see a reason to learn the members. /shrugs

I also don't know most girl group members. I know girl GROUPS but not their individual members.

Honestly I find the boys are easier to tell apart and remember.

winner though just came out of nowhere. I watched their WIN show and became a fan in one episode. And followed them ever since. They make sincere music. I respect every member for their part in the group. Some of the members went through a lot of hardships to be in winner. I'm not saying others Kpop groups haven't but their struggle personally speaks to me. :)

A lot of people are that way, I find! I'm not. I used to ignore a lot of girl groups out of coincidence (I was a new K-pop fan and ignored the groups I didn't know), but now I try to give every debuting group a chance. Lots of great girl group debuts out there lately.

I agree. I used to only listen to boy groups but I started watching every episode of Inkigayo. I'd watch MOST of the performances. That's when I started getting into girl groups. There are still some I just can't get into. Apink, SNSD, Lovelyz to name a few. Out of the current girl group rookies I love Laboum. Their songs are so cute and they have powerful vocals. Gfriend is pretty good too.

SNSD. I used to really like SNSD. Back in 2009 and 10. Nowadays, since I Got a Boy, I usually don't like their songs.

Yeah, Laboum is adorable. CLC's debut song is SO CATCHY. GFriend's was really good!

I couldn't get into CLC's 2 songs. They fell a little flat for me. But I will keep an eye on them for their next release. I haven't completely written them off :))


BTS GUUYS ;___; finally got first place and I dont even care that it wasn't one of the 'main' shows. I'm just super happy for them.

I know~ I'm so happy for them ;; They deserved #1 from the beginning, but better late than never.

They really have deserved a win from the beginning. This is probably going to be their only win with this song since Big Bang will be in the running for the other music shows.

Although honestly BTS should get it. While yes, I understand BB is HUGE and has a million fans. But when you critically think about it...what song is better? IMO not BB's.

Stupid question: Is K-pop Korean? Or what? I've never really heard of it.
