Oh, ouch, that sounds painful! I've messed up my left ankle by falling out of a stirrup trying to get onto a horse and having him run off with me bucking with my foot too far in, and me not fully in the saddle and falling off... D: It hurt. I had to walk home 1/4 mile to my neighbor's house, and unsaddled him and left him tied to the hitching post and told my neighbor what happened and then had to limp home - just across the street - but omg, walking on that hurt. :(

So my ankles can't handle high heals - as the other one is messed up too, just not from anything like that.

If you regularly walk with an angled foot rather than a flat foot, the muscles and tendons that are normally stretched by normal walked don't get stretched properly, so the build up shortened. If you do it long enough, you have to get surgery to straighten them out. I have watched that surgery and it is so gruesome looking.

OH MY GOSH, have you seen the Blue Planet series? It was on a few years ago, and I love it so much. I own the DVD set.

All I get on our TV is PBS.
