I changed my major because of that (and because I really fell in love with archaeology in that course) but I only decided on England when I narrowed down what exactly I wanted to focus on in the field which is Anglo-Saxon archaeology.
The school I'm attending currently has some experts in the field and I'm excited to be here even though I'll only have the year to spend it studying with/under them. It's really fascinating stuff, I just wish I could spend longer here sinking my teeth into it.
It's so great you know what you want to do! I'm taking business because you can use that degree in a wide range of fields since I'm not sure of what I want to do yet. I think I want to run my own business though :}
So, what do you study in Anglo-Saxon archaeology?
Well, sometimes the same professor will teach several classes. Like my math professor I had last semester teaches the math class I have this semester. Same with the English professor I had, except I'm not in that class this semester. Try and get close to a few of the experts and if they see that you're interested in the field, they might teach you about it outside of class. Plus, it'd look really great if they wrote you a letter of recommendation.
Woo! Sorry about that. Things have been crazy this term. I still have projects due, BUT I have a 5 week break coming up starting at the end of March and you had better believe that is when I will be completing your commission! D:
As far as what I study in Anglo-Saxon archaeology... lots of stuff! Small finds (like brooches, pins, rings, bracelets), hoards (The Staffordshire Hoard, for instance, is an Anglo-Saxon hoard), trade, toponyms, settlement patterns, landscape reuse and adaptation, ethnicity but for the most part I study cemeteries and the contents within them because that's where the bulk of the Anglo-Saxon stuff lies.
The thought of running your own company is just amazing. I don't have that kind of mind for business, but admire people who do. Any particular ideas on exactly what sort of business you'd like to run?

I feel ya! I've been so crazy busy!!!! You get 5 weeks? Nice! You coming back to visit us in the states Lol XD Did you say your family lives in Texas? My cousin is shipped there for the air force right now.
Aww! I'm not in any rush <3 I know how hard and hectic college can be!
That's so cool! I'd love to see how their jewelry and stuff looked way back when. Have you found many burial grounds or are you just studying the subject right now? That's really cool either way!!
Thanks! XD The business law class is probably the hardest class I have right now. I feel like I'm studying to become a lawyer Um, I'm wavering back and forth. I think I want to do something creative like designing wedding gowns or clothes, maybe interior design like decorating the inside of houses. Something like that.
I know it kinda sounds petty and cliché, but there's just something inside of me that wants to be famous. I want to be remembered for something good.
XD
I thought it would make them look a little iridescent.. he is an angel, and now a bird, after all! I'm glad you like how it turned out! Sorry that it took so very long to get it finished for you!
Because it is a one year masters... if I decided to do it part time I would have a break and another year to write the same amount! xD
Silly, but I definitely feel as if I have a good shot at finishing this up really nicely this year. : )
I like what I do, so not having a break really isn't that bad!

Ah, I gotchya I don't think it's silly. Nothing wrong with wanting to finish early.
That's so awesome you're doing what you love!
