A Dark City

This RP is set in the infamous Gotham City, the big city on the East cost. The city has been made infamous for it's history of criminal organizations and police corruption, as well as its famous families, such as the Cobblepots and the Waynes. Despite the darkness and corruption, there are those who serve as beacons of hope, standing against corruption and for the law, such as the prestigious Commissioner Gordon. The city also plays host to several locations of both fame and infamy, such as Arkham Asylum, Blackgate Prison, the Wayne Manor, and the S.T.A.R. Labs weapons research facility.

A Dangerous City

In recent times, Gotham has become plagued by more than simple crime families. Various, so-called 'super-criminals' have begun to plague the city, committing crimes that the GCPD just aren't able to stop. There was a man who could, and did... but he disappeared... since then, things have gotten worse than ever. Gotham needs someone, or several someones, to save it, before it falls to complete ruin.

Bio: Gemini was born in Japan,and brought to live in Gotham at an early age.her mother was human,but her father,whom she never met,was a kitsune-a japanese fox spirit.Gemini was always the outcast at school,preferring to be alone than playing with others.her mother was killed in a drive-by when she was 9,and after that Gemini became obsessed with finding and punnishing any and all criminals.by day,she poses as a regular human,the goth girl who won't let anyone touch her,known to her classmates as "the ice princess" for her cold attitude.but at night,she becomes Vixen,the fox demon vigilante.Gemini suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder,also known as O.C.D. which makes certain things difficult for her.because of this,skin to skin contact with any other person is almost frightening,making her literally unapproachable.she likes to wear Batman t-shirts and read sci-fi novels,and her favorite placees are the movie theater and the top of the highest building at night.her appearance changes dramatically when she switches to her kitsune form.

Personality: Gemini/Vixen is distant and cold,though mostly to protect her warm and loving heart.she can be an eternally loyal friend,or a very dangerous enemy.

Costume: He usually wears a pair of black pants, and a sleeveless black shirt with black fingerless gloves.

Powers: He has the ability to mold metals. He can turn them to liquid or solidify them. He has the ability to move and mold them with his mind however he wants. In a way the metal 'speaks' to him, and is like a living thing with him. He is haunted by a series of chibi like ghosts, who each posess a talent he can use when needed.

Equipment: He keeps two rings and a necklace made out of a rare metal with him, the metal is unbreakable, lightweight, and seems to be the source of the spirits.

Weaknesses: Neku is very sensitive when it comes to the subject of his father, he is hotheaded, his mouth is often quicker then his mind, and he has an odd fear of the dark due to an experience in his past.

Bio: Neku was raised by his father for a long time. His father worked for a tech company who was looking into rare stones and alloys. One night a group of villans broke in to steal his father's reaserch. No one knows exactly what happened, but on the cameras the only part that was able to be seen of the incident was Neku's father handing a box of rare stones over to the villians. After that rumors began to sweep around about conspericies and his father working with the villians. In the center of it all came Neku, people began to tease him or stay away from him, and his father was placed in jail. Neku moved to live with his grandpa, and is determined to prove his father's innocence. Growing up, he always knew he had an attraction to metal, it would always seem to slightly melt and move to him. When he turned ten though, his father became curious, and began helping him discover what it was. At fifteen, his father gave him the present of the special metal jewlery, that he keeps with him. It is the last thing he has of his father.

Personality: Neku is bold, and hot headed. He is quick witted, but his mouth seems to work faster then his mind at times. He is not shy at all, and very outgoing. He loves to laugh, and have fun, but can be serious when needed. He is very independant.
