Well, if there are going to be crickets, a garden is as good a place as any.

*Smile* You have a very good point there Cardinal Biggles. I admit I like gardens, but I am not as huge a fan of bugs.

I love gardens, and will co-exist with insects, as long as there isn't a danger of inhaling them.

We have some ponds adjacent to our house, and there is this one sound that I cannot decide if it's a really loud frog or some sort of bird...

XD We have a lot of frogs here in the summer. Ho-leh they can be loud.
