you don't have to be a movie buff to post.
hangout, chat or be random!
any movie information or recommendation is greatly appreciated!
for me, i am a scary movie lover!
who else loves them or even hates them.
tell us your favorite movies.
why you did or did not like the movie.
suggest a really scary one to us.
please give us your critique on any and all movies you have seen.
if you really loved it please tell us so we can give it a look too.

do you have nightmares from watching them?
how much of the movie do you actually see?
can you sit there in the dark, alone during a thunderstorm
watching the scary movie while your kittie looks down the hall without being scared?

tell us all your story from being scared while watching scary movies or telivision shows.
don't feel silly telling us because you know we have all been scared out of our wits!

looking forward to the summer's end of scary movies being release soon!

i am a big fan of the old 'fright night' and i cannot wait to see the re-make of it.
i think it comes out august twenty-sixth.
i hope it shows at the drive-in sooooo much.
i get so scared there i don't even go to the restroom!
anyone else looking forward to seeing this flick?

i also love thrillers almost as much as scary movies.
thrillers keep you on the edge of your seat but not so much gore.
anyone have any good thrillers they ahve seen lately?

welcome Elluh!
i don't think i've seen 'Strangers', is it a new-ish movie?
i saw 'Paranormal Activity' *i think that is the name*
it freaked me out so badly and it wasn't too scary but the end really STILL creeps me out!
sorry i couldn't remember the title but i did find it and filled it in.
i'm that awful with jokes too, i can remember the punch line but not the body of the joke!
if you like to be scared then i suggest you give it a try.
it's not full of gore at all though.
hey, thanks so much for stopping by!

It was an 08 movie..

It wasn't scary but creepy.. xD
I heard The Human Centipede was disgustingly scary..

Elluh ~~ thanks for the trailer.
i saw it's a dvd only on Netflix.
i just discontinued that portion of the service too ;[
i'll look up the *muahahaha* discustingly scary 'human centipede' as well.

'Paranormal Activity' wasn't terribly scary but it did un-nerve me terribly.
especially the ending. i had nightmares for weeks. and everytime i got over
them i'd think about the movie again and they'd start up. hope i don't have them tonight too.

oh, i see you have a thread with a friend.
*goes to visit*

Aw, yeah..
I was thinking about that.
All the good movies on
Netflix are dvds..:illgetu:

O gosh, I heard people
start throwing up and all sorts
of nonsense after watching the
Human Centipede..for several
reasons I can't list on Mene.. :gonk:

D:
Aww!
I was just sleeping with
the light on for a few nights.. xD;
I'm a wuss sometimes, have you
seen Poltergeist? ..I think
the 80s were a great time for
horror movies.. @w @..

Elluh ~~ i litterally jusped several times watching that trailer.
and i remember i did see it at the drive-in *apparently with my eyes closed*!
it was a really good movie and i'd probably be watching it tonight, so thank God it's dvd only.

yeah i was reading some of the like 300 pages of reviews of 'human centipede'.
i laughed at the 'rerrible acting and discustingly entertaining' comments.

i have seen 'poltergist' and it was a good movie for an oldie.
sometimes what you don't see is scarier than all the guts and gore.

Elluh ~~ the drive-in has 'friday the 13th' movies during halloween.
the bathroom scene always gets me because it sorta looks like the dirive-ins.
O.o
i have to go with a buddie, it's not pretty and so i mostly don't drink anything ;p

i've seen a few of the 'saw' movies. i think it was number four.
should i watch them in order?

the 'amenityville horror' is a total creep out for me.
i'm Catholic and when the the sister and father can't stay in the house
we'll i'm outta there! i don't need the house to say 'get out!'

watched that cause of the Ramones.

Naaw, it's basically the same
stuff..no point to it really.

LOL.
They were probably like
"...Do we have insurance?"
as they were driving away.. xD

So hard to find good scary movies. Every scary movie these days has to have blood and guts, and frankly that doesn't scare me :-/

Hello Hummy!

I like scary movies, but not gory movies. I still prefer the old horror movies over most of the newer ones.

I want to see the new Fright Night, I really do hope the drive-in gets it soon. I'm really looking forward to seeing David Tennant in it, he was the 10th Doctor Who & I really liked him.

The Phantasm series & Evil Dead II & Army of Darkness are still some of my favorite horror/scary movies.
I like the old George A. Romero zombie movies, one of my elementary school teachers showed us Night of the Living Dead as a treat one Halloween. I don't think the school knew about it. ;)
Ever since I have been interested in horror movies, I like the ones that leave your imagination room to figure out what happens. Most of the newer horror/scary movies are just a gore-fest, which I just don't enjoy. I hated the Saw movies.

I do like the Resident Evil series of movies. Milla Jovovich did a great job in those movies.

I was a little freaked out when we watched the Rob Zombie Halloween movie. We saw it at the drive-in & having to leave the car to go to the bathroom was scary. Of course the drive-in bathroom is always scary.

hiya Damia Flagg:!
do you ever use fearnet?
they have some things about Rob Zombie this month.
i haven't checked it out yet but plan to this weekend (yikes i had better get a move on it ;p).

i really want to see the new 'fright night' too but it does look a lot scarier than the first which was more of a comedy than horror to me.
i didn't know he was a Dr. Who.
i haven't gotten to watch that in awhile and i miss it.

i love the 'army of the dead' series. i just saw a movie with Bruce in it.
i can't remember the name, something like 'a man called Bruce' or kind of like that.
i really like him as an actor and even watch him in 'Burn Notice'.

i agree about the drive-in bathrooms,
they have all the creep factors going for them.
cob webs, light bulbs burned out and swinging light fixtures,
just missing the axe weilding psycho's!

i haven't seen any of the 'resident evil' movies, are they worth a try?

so how are you doing? what have you been up to?
it's sad we don't see each other every day like we used to.
thank you so much for stopping by to post, i miss you!
i wish we all were together again like in the beginning of Kiss' thread.

I'm doing fine. How have you been? I have missed you also & I'm so glad we found each other. :)
I told my brother that I ran into you, he was a regular on Kiss' thread also.
I miss Kiss & the thread. About the only one I still chat with from the thread is Shells. Usually if I'm in that forum I'm in Humphrey's thread, it is one of the most active chat threads.

The Resident Evil movies are worth watching. I really enjoyed all 4 of them.
I heard that there is talk about them making another Resident Evil.

I've never heard of fearnet. What is it?

I love Bruce Campbell. I would love to find one of the television shows he did many years ago called "The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr." It was sort of a cross of cowboys & steampunk. It is probably out on dvd, but I figure it would be hard to find.

I'm still hoping that the drive-in will get Fright Night, sometimes they get really good movies & then other times we don't go for weeks because all they play is junk.

Damia Flagg ~~ fearnet is sort of like netflix but you do not have to pay to watch the movies.
they have a lot of good Rob Zombie movies on the site most of the time.
you do have to watch commercials but it is not a big problem.
they do have a lot of B movies too but even some of those are pretty good for free!
i am not sure if they keep track of what you watch like netflix does but it is really a good site, for me anyway.
free is the way to be!

it really is sad how we all have seemed to drift apart.
i have not heard from Kissie in such a long time either.
i think maybe she isn't active at all anymore ;[
have you heard from her at all?
your brother was on the first page, bottom post is that correct?
i am glad you still see shellie around. i have missed her every time she has been online.

who stars in the 'resident evil' movie series?

I subscribed to thread so I won't lose track of it.

Milla Jovovich stars in the Resident Evil series.

The series has had some great cast members including:
Michelle Rodriguez was in the first one, she was also on the television series Lost.
Mike Epps was in the 2nd & 3rd movie, he is a stand-up comedian & has been in the Friday movies with Ice Cube.
Oded Fehr was also in the 2nd & 3rd movie, you might know him from the Mummy & The Mummy Returns.
Ali Larter was Claire Redfield in the 3rd & 4th movie. She was in the television show Heroes, she played Niki/Jessica Sanders & Tracy Strauss.
Wentworth Miller is Chris Redfield in the 4th movie, he was in the television series Prison Break.

Yep my brother was on the bottom of the page. :)
I haven't heard from Kiss in such a long time. I do wonder what happened to her.
I used to chat with Nanto some, but I don't think he is on much anymore either.
Of course a lot of people have disappeared from the site & it makes me sad not knowing what happened to them.
For example Kango, she said she was going away for school for the weekend & never came back.
One of my best friends on the site has also done a disappearing act. She was moving & was supposed to return after they got settled in, but its been several months & she still hasn't logged in. I send messages to one of her daughters (because I see her log in) & she says she is fine, just really busy. I have probably talked with her more than any other person on the site. I really do miss her, I keep hoping to see her log back in sometime.
