Ooh, she is Leas? I hope she's active in the event... she was awesome in the last one I participated in.

We got taught a bit of the Haka in school but were told it was more specificially for men.

Only because I did Indonesian class though.

Leaf: I'm not 100% on the reason but I do know itsa cultural thing. Because only men were allowed to go out to war and seeing as how it was a war dance I guess it became tradition that only men were allowed to learn it.
Once again, not 100% but I'm pretty sure.

I thought something like that too Sup. It's not right for women to do it. A respect thing or something.

I've seen that Leas, was a good movie.

I'm not sure how Indonesian it was Leas but we got to use little tea candles... they banned girls from wearing hairspray because one year someone's fringe caught on fire :P
Was fun though... very long time time ago too, more than 10 years so I don't remember much.

I had some Indonesians live next door a while back and they were kind of like that. The wife didn't have much say in the goings on of their life.
