Oh, I warmed up after a while. That was just before my heater got going/I got all snuggled up in my blankets. We have a fireplace, and one fan heater. We're pretty well insulated too.

Well that is nice, glad to hear you arent freezing at the moment. I have been there too, two winters ago when i lived in boone nc we had a bad blizzard and had no power for 2 days, oooo it was cold!

Ohmigosh! That is far worse than it ever gets here! We're too "tropical" for snow. (Very humid, lots of salt in the air....)

Well i was over 1000 meters above sea level and 300 miles inland from the coast. some of new zealand gets snow right?

Oh yeah! Most of the South Island (the Island I live on) gets snow in winter. I just live in a funny bit. :lol:

Anyway, it's eleven, and I have to be at work in eleven hours, so I should probably get some sleep.

Southern hemisphere, unite! I'm in Australia and I'm currently wearing bed socks, a hoodie and a poncho. :/

I was back on gaia for awhile but forgot my pw. i need to retrieve it from my email and get back on. I have millions in items and gold that i dont want to lose. I wished italian were a little less vocal lol, they can get very unnerving at times. Im half italian and not like that myself. well im signing off in 10 more minutes too many people are coming into the cafe being way too loud.

yea its late where you are, luckily they all just filtered out for the time being. i have some guy sitting at the end of a table watching tv glancing at me from time to time and two boys sitting on a small couch looking at their phones... and the barristas are cleaning. its still early here and ciesta is taking place but sundays are wild here in this small town.

its more comfortable when you are with your friends. me im alone for the moment.

Actually, it's not too late; only 9:30pm. I'm still in high school though, so early bedtime for Zea. xD

I hate being in places where I don't know anyone, especially in foreign environments! D:

Well, i have to live here for another month so that may not be such a good idea on my part.

im graduated from college already and trying to finish a second degree. sounds like you are still young. you should always take chances to travel with your friends and explore other places--- of course taking all the necessary precautions.

Yep, I'm still a green bean! I'm not really a huge fan of travel; I'm a pretty massive introvert and traveling and being in new places make me really anxious. Especially when I don't have the option to go back home. I can't even deal with school camps. xD

Some people are more homebodies, I understand that. Maybe you would feel more comfortable if you were with 2 or 3 of your best friends? I get anxious now and then because im still dealing with my break up mentally even though Im ok, but since i am here with my dad and the rest of my family, I have a lot of reflection time which can be good and bad sometimes-- that makes me a bit anxious. I need a balance of alone and social time.

I'd be more likely to consider such a trip if it were with friends I'll admit. ^^
And I'm sorry about your breakup. I haven't had any experience with romance yet, but I understand how emotionally challenging a relationship can be.

Yea, its just somewhat bittersweet memories that make me wonder what could have been but i know i am much better off... but still, being alone can really make your mind wonder. hopefully you will find someone good for you. crap i should have unequipped my items now i cannot re equip this sux.
