I got a few commons with gold. One gown for Star with currency and four sets of rares with currency and even managed to get back over a hundred to have towards the next event.

In between no real established routine with them, early wake up times with my two oldest and insomnia -- life has been rough lately.

Oh I know it'll take some time. It did with both our girls, and with it being two littles this time around plus Becca and Soph -- it's a bit harder. We'll find one, eventually.
Thanks hummy!

Ugh! I'm so frustrated you guys! So dealing with grandma's dementia is already hard enough, but anymore lately my mother-in-law just has this there's-no-point/why-bother attitude with things. That and I've started noticing mother-in-law is kinda.... not really lying, but definitely twisting things. Example: so when we go to grandmas I'll check around the house to make sure things are okay, leaving mother-in-law to deal with grandma alone. Mother-in-law doesn't like that. So today while we're heading there she tells me how grandma always asks what I'm doing and what am I looking for. I can hear them while I check things and grandma's never said anything like that.
If she didn't want me to leave her alone with grandma all she has to do is say so, she doesn't need to twist things. So I don't really appreciate that. And just the sour attitude she's had lately, she acts like she's the only one that's stressed about things. Like today she tells me that she purposely leaves the money book out for the guys at the shop so that way they can see what the shop is bringing in. Okay, that'd be fine if it weren't her passive aggressive way of trying to show them without showing them why we're struggling to pay bills at the shop. The guys don't know there's still bills to be paid, so of course when they see there's money that looks like it'd be profit, of course they question why they don't get their full pay check!
Then she's just been short and not really snappy, but just... irritable, I guess, with me whenever it comes to anything today. I'm just so frustrated, I dunno what to do anymore. I just keep trying to roll with things, but all I wanna do is cry right now. Mother-in-law acts like she's the only one having a hard time, the only one feeling stressed, and all she wants to do is throw herself a pity party cause no ones acknowledging how hard she has it. No, we know how stressful it is. We know she's been having a hard time, that's why we've been trying to help, that's why I've spent the last half a year going to grandma's every day with her. The only day I don't see grandma is on Saturday. I told mother-in-law once the weather is better I'll do grandma's pills so she doesn't have to, but she refuses to let me do it myself and just sighs and says she'll do it. I'm just standing here wondering why she's asking for help if she's going to turn it down??

just my two cents: mother-in-law should feel comforted by the fact that you take care of grandmother.
for some day she will be her and you will be mother-in-law, and mother-in-law should lead by example.
I know what I meant and I kind of got lost in my own words.\
there but for the Grace of God go I~~to the mother-in-law.
I admire your loyalty and devotion.
it isn't easy being the responsible adult.
but you show great character *hugs*

Thanks hummy -hugs- I just get frustrated with it. Grandma is mother-in-law's mother-in-law, hubby lost his dad at 12/13 but even though mother-in-law is remarried we all take care of grandma cause she's family. It's just, no matter what we do or how we try to explain it, it's like mother-in-law just wants to throw a pity party for herself. I get that, everyone gets those days, but it's like she doesn't know how to get out of that.
There's just a lot of stress factors in our lives and I just felt like ranting when I made that first post. I feel better than I did when I first brought it up, but mother-in-law is still in a pity funk. I just wish I could figure out how to get her out of it. We've tried telling her to take a day off, but she refuses to. It's like she's forgotten how to be happy and I just don't know how to help her with that.

I worked in a day care and we had this little boy. He's step grandfather was Poppy... to all the kids. They would walk in in the morning and all the kids would yell "Poppy!" It was so damn cute.

Aww it sounds like all the kids really liked him!
That reminds me, the daycare my sister works at, whenever I dyed my hair and went to the day care the kids would all gush over whatever color my hair was lol. My sister would even have them guess what color it would be before I'd come over lol.
