I found a funky (ugly bronze painted) mirror at a second hand shop and painted it with a satin acrylic paint



Scuffed up the mirror with sandpaper and coated it with 2 layers of chalkboard paint



Then, success! So cute! I already had the materials to paint everything, so the only out of pocket expense was the three dollar mirror.

Hey! I think I promised a few photos of the wedding I just helped with....my brother's and one of my besties just got hitched....





I did the bride's hair and make up too! Kinda glad it's all done with.....and I didn't get any photos of the day cause I was the
"best man"....or best sister.... so I snagged a few from other folks.


The image on the key favor was a watercolor that the bride's father painted...and the key was a bottle opener

matron of honor! that's right. completely forgot about that title! all my friends were unmarried at my wedding. xD

my friend's sister was her matron of honor. I was the best man/lady...since I'm a gal. :D

That'd be so sweet, Kirin! I will definitely have a guy in my bridesmaid group. One of my best buds....and he knows it.

I know it's not traditional but I don't give a damn. Years ago I took a quiz on IVillage about what type of wedding I would have and it told me I would have a combination of a traditional and nontraditional wedding. Hell I want a zebra print wedding gown.
