Has anyone else read this one? I for one am hooked at the moment on this manga. Unfortunately, it looks like I read all the ones that were out so I gotta wait.
The story is about a boy, who is actually half female. In his freshman year in high school he enters a class that one has to take in order to graduate. Every thursday students attend the class in which they deal with the things that they hate most about themselves through their dreams.
It is an incredibly deep story, that has quite the love triangle running around. A little warning, the story contains shojo-ai, shounen-ai and the main character can get pretty emo at times. But the story is really good and I suggest, that if it interests you, read it.
I'm up to vol. eight if anyone wants to talk about what's been going on.

I've also read the first volume, I'm looking to buy more soon though (just got a coupon from Borders ^^). I find the story and characters very interesting, and the story is certainly not one I've heard before so there's even more reason for me to read it cause originality seems to be hard to find...

I'd love to buy it eventually except that I see the same problem you guys do, the unavailability of the early volumes. You guys should definately get it when you can because the later volumes are even better.

I also bought and read the first volume. Honestly when I bought it I was not expecting what I got. I originally bought it because I liked the artists style. I did like the originality of the story but it threw me off guard and so I didnt really like it that much the first time I read it. When I reread it, it was much better but it still is a bit too crazy for me. But thats probably due to my upbringing. :/
Maybe if I could find and read the second I would like it more..

I will warn you Pumpkinflavored, it does get a lot stranger as you go on.
Man, what's wrong with my book store. Everyone else can only find the first one, I can find 2-8 but can't find one and I really want to buy all of them.

Yeah, I end up buying a lot of Manga from Amazon.com, simply because it's less hassle than trying to do a special order through my local bookstore. I got most of Othello (the manga about Yaya / Nana, not the Shakespeare play about the Moor) from Amazon, for instance.
I haven't read this particular series, and it sounds interesting. When you say that the main character is half female, are we talking about some form of hermaphrodite, or like Ranma 1/2?

How they describe it in the manga Walkyrje, is that his lower half is female, and his upper half is male. SO basically I guess you could say he's a girl with no boobs. ^.^;;

In fact, the psychology of the book you're describing is interesting. Girls don't start growing breasts until the second decade of life, so the person you're describing would have been indistinguishable from a little girl until in her early teens. So why would the parents raise the child as a boy?

I really have no idea. They don't give any description of his parents. He's just at this private school from the beginning, so I really have no idea how it happened.

Oh I get that way with manga too. I'll be buying a series and than I'll see something new and run out and buy that one. Half the series I'm reading I haven't finished because of this very reason.

All the talk in this thread has convinced me to start reading this online. It seemed a little odd at first and I thought maybe I would stop reading, but then I got farther along and it's really kinda gotten me hooked.
I think the concept is pretty weird and out there, but somehow it makes sense.

I need to head back to the bookstore and see if the next one is out yet.
I think I was stuck since the beginning, but I'm kinda into horror and shounen-ai, and anything that will make me think. I'd really like to know what happens to the graduates.

I just returned the first volume back to the library, and am ordering number 2! I am soooo addicted...
The way my sick little mind sees it is, in some parts it's actually shojou-ai, and in others it looks like shounen-ai... It's a win win!!
