In celebration of me getting almost all of my gostume ready-the wig, black umbrella and bead cord is all I am waiting for (wig and umbrella are on the way), I made a Gaia cosplay avatar. xD

Wow Doom, the only thing that could make that gaia avi look more like her would be if it were muddy, and you stole one of her boots. Are obsessed?? :)

xDD Not obsessed... Just excited! The only other I ever cosplayed was Kiki from Kikis Delivery Service... And that didn't go so well... But I have faith in this one. Except I had to settle for a blonde wig, not light brown. The only issue is will people know who I am. But when I saw that Gaia had all the stuff... I mighta got a liiiitle obsessed. xD

Even if some people don't know who you are, at least you can spread the news about this awesome manga. Either way it is totally worth doing. Who doesn't want to walk around as a creepy girl in a raincoat during a con?

Hm... being blonde. Don't be surprised if you start getting clumsy or saying stupid things. Even a blonde wig can rub off on you.

I found I think 4 manga of the series for half price. I only bought number 5 though- cause I used my cosplay money on it. All I need now though is a giand bead or something to make the bead cord... Which is proving very difficult and the con is in 2 weeks...

Well, if all else fails you could probably just find a giant bouncy ball. They look enough like a bead, and you could paint it if you needed to.

I was thinking of that, or a marble xD But, I got a 2 1/2" wooden ball, drilled a hole in it, and stuffed a bunch of black string through it (I couldn't fand black lanyard which might have worked better) and painted it with a pearl finish paint. It looks really good, I think. I only made one bead though, because it would have costed more money than I had to get more.

On a lighter note, the con is THIS Friday~! 3 days! Oh yeah! And I will try as hard as I can to get pics up.

I did. ^^ I haven't been to a bon in almost 2 years. It was niiice. A bit small, but still nice.
If things go right, I'm supposed to go to Otacon, but I don't think I will be cosplaying Kureha... The jacket was like being in a wet, sweaty garbage bag. xD

I don't blame you for wanting to dress a little cooler. I can only imagine that cons are hot enough with all the people running around, wearing a rain coat probably doesn't help.

Teehee. No. ^_^ by Saturday evening I got a large black garbage bag, stuffed my costume into it, and deemed it the stinky bag.
