I'm okay with older little kids. But I hate babies and anything that isn't potty trained.

A lot of it depends on the kid. My daughter was pretty easy to deal with when she was really little - still is. She has asperger's. My son is still a mystery - almost 4mo - but is the most giggly flirt I've ever seen.

@Dystopia: All the kids I've dealt with have been brats, yes. I know not every single one of them on the face of the planet is, but a lot are.

I don't mind kids. I mean, I wouldn't be smiling happily if a kid was clinging to my leg and trying to bite me, but that's why you gotsa discipline them to be good people. I probably wouldn't be the best person to do that, since I'm really short-tempered, but I don't hate kids. o3o;

@ Phoenix - Its a matter of how they're brought up and their level of maturity. I've met extremely mature children before. Just because most of the kids you've met are brats doesnt' mean you gotta be a jerk to them as a whoel.

I think of it as a form of birth control for some kids. If they see how tough it is to deal with ankle biters, then maybe they won't have them! I'm sure there are people who don't care for me or my kids, and that is fine with me. I have the ability to drive home and close the door to the rest of the planet, just like everyone else :)

@Dystopia: I know that. Take in account what you just said; it's all about how they've been brought up. That applies to everyone. If someone was brought up with people being a jerk to them, then that person will in turn repeat those emotions. I apologize for being human. =/

Well, I don't mind that people dont' want kids or don't care for kids. (In the sense that they dont' want kids themselves. Not neglect them.) But its probably Phoenix's word choice that sparked my temper.
