I have photoshop CS3 and I've always been curious!

Swansong: Oh, putting down my color? Make sure your image is cleaned up how you want it to be with levels and all that, then put a clear layer over the top of it and put it to the Overlay setting. Then just fill the whole layer with whatever color/colors you want ^^
