Think about it in another way, some employee who are incompetent and would take advantage of the overtime pay. purposely take their own sweet time to do things...

yeah but its not fair to punish EVERYONE for a few peoples refusel to do things..or maybe i just don't get it cause im a 'be fair' type person.

I understand what is happening, doesn't mean I AGREE to it. It is just that, 90% of company are like that here, plus the bad economy, it is the employer's market. Sometimes you just need to compromise with reality a bit.
It is NOT fair, and that unfortunately is why it is called real life.
