At the dear words of his friend, Lucian let a few tears of frustration and relief fall from his eyes -- even the soulless could cry, apparently -- and he smiled while saying "So, will you mind if I stick around here and make a little bit of fate and destiny all that jazz? That'd be mighty nice, Aaron."

"What's the alternative? You running off and killing yourself?" he scoffed, and then his features filled with discomfort. "Stop crying. You're making me feel like a jerk."

A bad storm was blowing in and the place was filling with the scent of rain so Kelly turned away from the two with a light eye roll to look at the gaping hole in the wall; that wouldn't do during a storm, so she took a swig from the jug and closed her eyes to concentrate and after a few moments the hole began to return to it's former, non-hole, appearance.

"Wow," Aaron watched as Kelly fixed up the wall in disbelief. "Now the manager won't murder me . . . so thanks."

Lucian nodded and wiped his tears away, laughing lightly as he said, "Well, yes, that's the alternative. And you're not a jerk, so don't worry." -- of course, that little stunt that Kelly pulled attracted his attention, as well, and he could only stare in disbelief.

When Kelly turned around she said she raised an eyebrow at Lucian, "Take a picture," she said before looking to Aaron to say, "I didn't do it for you. There's a storm coming and I don't like to get wet," she said looking down at the jug in thanks to it's magical powers that would be wearing off shortly.

"Storm," Aaron repeated with a sigh, "We've been having so many recently."

The red-head shrugged lightly as the talk about storms, snickering a little bit at an old memory -- "You speak as if you don't like them, Aaron, but I clearly remember you running out of your house multiple times as a child to dance in the rain..."

Aaron's face fell into an embarrassed smolder as he growled, "Thanks for that, Lucian. I like the rain, alright . . . but the lightning and hail is the worst part."

With a light chuckle, Lucian walked over to his friend and slung his arm over the man's shoulder, "No need to be embarrassed -- I'll agree though, hail is pretty bad... do you get holes in the roof because of it or something?"

"I do at home," Aaron admitted, glancing at the arm over his shoulder, "but the roof is more solid here."

Chuckling at Aaron's reaction to his little gesture, Lucian nodded and then sighed -- "I could always fix them for you. If you'd like, that is."

"That would be good, but a thicker roof would be better," Aaron said, finally shrugging Lucian off of him.

Pouting slightly, the red-head laughed again and scratched his head, shoving his hands into his pockets as he said, "Well, that can be done, as well, if you'd like. Whatever you want."

With a laugh, Aaron glanced back at Lucian. "What, are you just trying to make me feel better? You aren't my genie or anything."

"I'm just tired of hurting others; I want to help, even if it's in these little ways..." Lucian countered, his mind wandering a little bit at this point -- he couldn't help but think that any use of his powers would just bring ruin.

"Sounds . . . like a good idea," Aaron shrugged a bit, a smile tugging at his lips.

((Oh...my...God! I can't believe I forgot all about this! That's never happened before! Ohmygod I'm so so so sorry!))

Todd stood on a hill looking up at the sky and smiled knowing that a storm.was the perfect time to hunt."time for some fun."

Kelly watched the two converse wondering about Lucian until she said, "So what is it that makes you so special, and what were you talking about some sort of soulless something or other that a demon could undo?" being far too curious to just let it go.

Todd stood a moment longer on the hilltop and, with the first flash of lightening, sped off towards the town, his hunters instincts kicking in.

Ivy yawned as she watch Todd speed towards the group, then starting to giggle.

In the town, Todd found his first victim, a woman alone on the street, probably running home to beat the storm.he was on her quickly, before she could even scream, and within moments had drained her but not all the way she would wake up very confused later he left her on the street and moved on to find another person.
