Not really. The site has had three owners total. Jess, IV and now me <3 Also, items will come soon. I've only just got us a pixelist. To be fair, the change couldn't have come faster, poor Jinksu was left unloved by it's owners and staff (bar a select few) for too long D:

No. There wasn't even an active owner in October so work was basically halted on the site. Then a few weeks ago the forums were wiped and I've taken over as co-owner to get things back on track.

I'd love running a forum site, but I'm defensive, and I'd probably get annoyed with people complaining. You can't please everyone. I try to.

Meh, I'm well used to drama and being hated on so over the years I've developed a very thick skin. So by now I've just learned to go with the flow and work at just doing what I think would be beneficial rather than doing what I think others would like, because mostly, they don't.

I've spent years in customer service, and in the industry of pleasing others, the number 1 rule is, people have to be told what to like.

At the same time, it has to be pleasant and enjoyable in order to make the enjoyment stick. Pleasing a huge crowd of people with the same thing takes patience. I could do it, but it would drive me crazy.

I'd end up overwhelmed with the need greed for money.

Ah, well that sucks that it was wiped. That happened on another site and everyone was not happy about it. But I saw it as an opportunity to earn more currency.

I'll join Jinksu when items make an appearance. I wouldn't want to hassle the site with unneeded posts when its not ready yet.

Was that Chloria you're talking about Nessie? Yeah, I didn't mind the wipe so much. Sadly I've had to resign as being a Mod there. Not enough time to dedicate to that site :(

No gold was lost in the forum wipe on Jinksu. It was for a fresh start. IV wanted the ideas to be my own, and I think Jess just wanted to reclaim the forum. So...boom. Forum wipe.

It's hardly a hassle, Wolfie. We're in open beta just now and are trying to encourage our old users back into the forums as well as new users in. Now that we have active pixelists I'm hoping it won't be too long before we have some items, though as Darren is our only coder it might take slightly longer to get the actual system ready D;

Ah, patience is something I tend to lack most of the time. In real life anyway. However, I've seemed to notice that I am much more mellow and things online xD
