Axe's eyes fluttered and finally opened. Once they were open he also became fully aware that his entire body was screaming with pain. He rolled to his side and curled up in to a fetal position and just laid there for a time, hoping the pain would subside somewhat. Realizing that there was more to it than just pain he rolled to his knees and after a few shaky moments, rose to his feet and walked inside his ship and gingerly began to undress in front of the small mirror in his personal quarters.

His collarbone was bruised very deeply but it wasn't broken. He couldn't same the same thing about a couple of his ribs or his nose. He lightly touched the smashed remnants of his nose with his fingertips and saw that he had two black eyes as well. He opened a drawer in the small cube like nightstand next to his bunk and pulled out some pain medicine. He walked in to the main cabin of the ship and retrieved the bottle of Frythian scotch he had left lying on the floor next to the captain's chair and fixed himself a drink to wash down the pills and gently lowered himself to sit.

Axe knew the headmaster was right. He was better than he displayed over the last 12 hours, but he didn't feel as though he deserved a beating for it. Not only would he have three marks to make on this trip, he would have to figure out who set him up and why. He decided to scan the town in search of the three since he had lost sight of them all and lost valuable time lying on the ground unconscious.

He picked up Thirteen and saw that she was examining the writing on the wall. He sat forward and peered at the screen in front of him. He knew that writing. He took out a notepad and a pen from his bag and started writing.

He had to move now. Later the information would roll in. Either on a bloody notepad, or in the voice of that doomed girl. He left a note for the bartender about the gender cleansing that was to come. The man would read it and cell by cell the information would eventually leak to everyone. And so many would soon be gone. Erased from existence. No longer part of the Cell. No longer part of anything. Empty and forgotten. Be doomed.

He took his drink with him as he picked up his false busted boom box walking down the street jamming to something nonexistent. Awake he would have just a smidge of idea where anyone was. Right now it was not his concern. He had to work out how he would approach his comrades tomorrow, he did not trust them so he had best have an idea worthwhile. He needed time. Back to the fortress.

Axe sat back in his chair and studied the message. This would be much more difficult than he thought. Why was this written here in this spit of a town? It made his head hurt worse just thinking about it. He tucked the notepad in his bag and focused his attentions back to the clock tower.
