I do ignore her.
But I -need- her respect for my art. She's a really great artist and the only reason she doesn't like my stuff is because I draw anime style. And I don't think that's fair. >.<
She makes fun of everything I do. Like this contest piece, she said it looked like it had reindeer antlers instead of branches. :?
I mean, I could take criticism. But she doesn't give me criticism, she just mocks everything.

I know how you feel. It's terribly upsetting when your art is let down and mocked just because it's 'anime styled'. *terrible experiences with high school art teacher*

But actually, the first thought that vaguely crossed my mind when I was drawing the branches was that they look somewhat like antlers too. Though the leaves remedied that. lol

They seem like they're supposed to be mistaken for antlers at first, though! So why be bothered too much about it? XD People don't expect to see little trees growing from someone's head. :3 No worries. <3

I need to get a move-on for my entries tomorrow. I am so sleepy tonight, though. What I'll probably do is go to sleep early and wake up early tomorrow so I can color before work. :3

My art teacher didn't like it when my friends and I drew anime-style too. o__o; But that was the only way I knew how to draw people, lol.

Although I attempted the traditional Japanese art style and the teacher seemed to like that. .__.
