I can share recipes if anyone wants them... although 'recipe' isn't exactly an accurate term in most cases.

I keep meaning to make candy corn... if this goes over through tomorrow I'll see if I can make it and use it as my second sugarplum sweets entry.

Well, the pizza has to properly be presented from the crust up... because the crust is amazing. It's 1 cup self rising flour and 1 cup plain greek yogurt, mixed and kneaded on a well-floured board, and cooked on a pizza stone at 450F for 8 minutes.

And then Mom and I like Greek food, so we put a thin layer of pesto, then sliced kalamata olives, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and feta. Pop it back in the oven for 8 minutes to get everything a wee bit browned and smelling amazing, et voila!

Feta is pretty amazing~ Especially if you can get sheep's milk feta. It's hard to come by where I live, though.

Yeah, that's the best pictures from my whole holiday. I could have done three or four more in the tidbits section... here's what our Christmas dinner table looked like:

Everyone on this thread is doing their humble part to prevent Menewshans from becoming anorexic. How could you not eat, seeing all the deliciousness we've made?

Your food is what made me want to dig into it. DX Really glad I didn't wait. My ultimate fear is finding something like the refrigerator in the Cowboy Bebop episode "Toys in the Attic."

When I... When I googled to find that image. There's a picture of a spaghetti container with what looks like a healthy bed of bean sprouts... They're not bean sprouts. *gags*

I didn't bother taking pictures because it was right before the contest and I had cut it up for storage. I tend to do it so people can frost their own pieces.

P.S. DAT oatmeal bar! *nomnomnom*

Edit: omg, Vox, I love your proof.

Gaaah... *shudders* I remember that scene. x.x

I love the freezer for storing stuff like cake... you can't nibble spontaneously, but if you cut it into servings they take less than an hour to thaw in most cases. And if you're in a hurry you can wrap them in foil and pop them in the oven for a few minutes-- microwaves, of course, are evil to baked goods.

Thanks, Alexander! I am rather impressed with that photo myself; it really preserved their texture. And ha, why, because I wrote my username on my hand? As a busy student who loses and forgets things easily, I have had to master the art of making itineraries on a canvas I can't misplace. :P

Edit: This is Vox, I forgot I was on my mule, lol.

I really did want to enter this contest.
I'm still so annoyed that I couldn't post any of my pictures.
I've had such bad luck where that is concerned.
My camera died, so I used my phone then I couldn't get the pictures off the phone, part of the memory card is missing.
So I tried to borrow my mom & she has no idea how to even cut the thing on & it has no instructions & has no on/off button.
