Yeah it is weird, well they don't even know how the practice got started. The men in China just liked woman with smaller feet, so in order for a woman to become wife she had her foot bound when she was young.

Thats a good hint, and a good point. Of course not everything about Chinese medicine is bad, footbinding was just a cruel practice so was castrating a man.

Right? we do some crazy things to. I don't think chinese medicine is all that bad some people find it more effective than western practices.

Yeah as oppose to chinese were herbs are used for treatment, or they use acupuncture or moxibustion.

Acupuncture actually works so I'm told (granted no way I'd let someone stab me with needles)

I would try acupuncture, I'm told it works to i've just never tried it.

My mom is a traditional Chinese medical doctor, and I've gotten acupuncture multiple times. I can tell you that it does work, but for certain cases it might take a longer treatment period than others.

Yep ^^ It's a good alternative since a lot of western medicines can have some nasty side effects in the long run

I hate medications of any kind. I'm allergic to everything it seems so I always am looking for things to try that do not involve medications. It's hard to find a doctor that won't just push pills at you.

Aw that always sucks when you have dry skin.

Yes it is quite expensive haha XD Which means I'm really lucky my mom can treat me :P I get all the treatments for free =)
