one of the npc's that run the shop or the pub, or hint to where you go next in the story, sends the hero on an event so the hero can get a special item from you.

A trickster that loves to trick people to following him back to his place to lock them up with everyone else locked up XD

After you defeat her, she tells you that you have done good on the test, and gives you a special item XD

When you die you wake up in her hospital after she injects you with stuff from her giant needle.

a shop owner.. like in the first part of the game... in a small town. basic wardrobe probably. help the main characters get their leather armor and basic bracer. that sort of thing.

A person whom you meet in a graveyard who's demon dog bites you in the prolouge and turns you into a demon. This sends you on a juroney to find a cure.

The daughter of the main store seller XD She helps her father gather items and is nice for a chat when you visit to buy potions =3

I keep thinking your character is in a small village, probably something like Link's village. You'd be playing the girl who would be saved from the evil men?Or well captured.. in some terms, but then saved! ='D

She fell asleep in the forest due to a curse, and you have to gather the ingredients to make her cure in order to wake her up. As a reward, she gives you the key to the next dungeon.

A sorceress who you battle at the end of an ice themed dungeon. Apon defeating her you kill the demon spirit inside her and she joins your party.

When you have to return to a village to get a spell this charcter has taken over the shop for now and this sends you out to search for the origonal shopkeeper.

an assistant assasin that helps you get through the first two levels from the evil zombies lurking

You look like you would be something like the great fairy from zelda, Random person/npc that can be found that gives the hero a special ability or heals them

The event item shop keeper in an online RPG game. He looks like he does around halloween.

One of the random hero's that joins the party after you take them on a side quest and help them out in someway.

the captain or king of the lands in the forest who help you achieve things

The guardian spirit of a sacred spring that gives the party new magical abilities after they free her from the monsters that invaded her forest glade.

Still some evil ice sorceress that can join your party.
