What am I up too?
Well. My cat is eating all the plastic bags I tried to hide from him.
He found them of course and now most are shredded.

Though the bigger concern is that he likes to hide inside of them and I am scared he will suffocate. :cry:

So I am supervising him.
Hes also mad at me and ignoring me because I saved him by taking him out of the bag he was in. :sweat:

Oh, my coffee tastes fabulous this morning.
My friend Charlotte and I have decided upon a date on which to be crazy and bug another of our friends - Lucas. Haha.

And I also am eating a piece of coffee cake with my coffee and am pretty sure that I will be going back for another piece if not the whole thing. :sweat:

His name is Houston and we saved him from the animal shelter.
He is adorable, and generally great cat.
He just gets mad, like all cats, when he doesn't get his way.

Oh, and he thinks he is a human baby and loves to be held like one.
Its kinda cute. :P

my kittie once put her whole head and half of her body in a hershey's kisses bag.
she was pissed off at me when i took her out, too.
there was condensation on the inside of the bag!
maybe they are dizzie with chocolate smell?

I know! Cats get so offended when you save their lives!
I feel like they look at us and think, "I could have saved myself if the need had arisen!" And then walk off all pissy like and give you the cold shoulder for a while until they want you to feed them or pet them. :lol:
Or clean their litter box. Haha.

Aw he sounds so cute! A lot of animals don't like being held like a baby, but it's so cute when they like snuggling!

But chocolate is bad for them just as it is for dogs.
Not that Houston cares.
His attitude is, "I see it - I eats it."
So I have to clean very nit picky cause he eats paper, hair elastics from my sisters, headphones....etc.
Though he bites hard things cause hes teething. So I will excuse him on that. Haha.

Apparently it is the caffeine and theobromine which is also toxic to us - but they are a lot smaller so they do not take to it as well as we do. :(

Yes it can. Chocolate contains both caffeine and theobromine. Both of these drugs can be toxic to a cat.

These drugs are two different types of stimulants that affect the central nervous system and the heart muscle, as well as increasing the frequency of urination. For a cat or dog to lick the remains of an ice cream from a bowl is unlikely to cause any harm at all unless the animal has a specific medical condition already.

However, if the animal was to eat a larger quantity of chocolate he may become very sick indeed and develop vomiting or diarrhea. When the amount of chocolate eaten is excessive, symptoms can include restlessness, hyperactivity, muscle twitching, increased urination and/or excessive panting.
