well first you dive down the hill to avoid the first pinch. then you have green and can't be pinched.

My dad saw one that was greeting our outdoor cat one time, unfortunately we couldn't get a picture.
Hovered there for a few seconds too inches from the cat's face.

I've only ever seen one once, when I was very small. I didn't know what they were, so I thought I had hallucinated and didn't tell my parents.

Humming birds definitely blow ones mind. I mean, not only do they have to eat every few hours or they'll die, but they fly insanely fast, hover, and hibernate every single night to survive.

and they fly backwards/reverse
they fly upside down at crazy speeds
they are amazingly beautiful in flight
