Well, before explaining why I started the Juneteenth Charity, I'd first like to explain what Juneteenth is.

Juneteenth is one of the oldest known celebrations commemorating the end of slavery in the United States.
On June 19, 1865, Union soldiers landed at Galveston, TX with news that the war was over and all the slaves were now free. This news arrived nearly two and a half years after President Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation but because of a lack of Union soldiers in Texas to enforce the Executive order, the Proclamation had little impact. Upon the arrival of the soldiers on June 19th however, the forces there were then strong enough to influence and overcome the resistance.

Now I know that most people have yawned through the little lesson probably and I'm sorry if anyone finds it rather dull, but I believe that every person has a right to be free and when I came across this holiday completely by accident and discovered that it fell on my birthday (though not the same year) I thought that it would be a nice idea for a charity.

So I give you the Juneteenth Charity. A place where all people are free and equal no matter of race, religion, age, etc. I accept anyone with any quest into my thread. Even if your quest is not one of gold or items I will do my best to help you achieve your goal all you need do is ask.

1. Be polite to everyone. Sure, you may express your opinion, but try to refrain from name calling and openly insulting someone.
That's just rude and will get you kicked out.
2. Follow Mene's TOS, etc. please. I shouldn't have to say this, but it's there anyway.
3. Whether you're just here to chat or you want to ask for help on a quest, read all of the rules.
4. Try to be as literate as possible please! It really hurts my eyes to have to try to read things typed in all caps and with a lot of bad grammar and numbers instead of letters. (It bothers me so much that I can't even bring myself to type an example!)

1. Fill out the handy form located at the end of this form and post it in here. Oh, well look at that! I was too lazy to make a form! XP
2. Please stick around and chat. Not only does this up your chances of me donating to you or helping with a non-item quest, but it's also polite and is a nice way for you to earn gold.
3. Don't be greedy. I can only get so many items at any given time right now so it's likely that if you ask for a lot of items, you won't get them all.

I prefer those lattes/cappuccinos that you can get at gas stations, books, using random fun words like petulant, disposition, etc., random suprises, old musicals, and much more.
General Dislikes: Rude people, liars (like the co-worker who called me in on my day off because she was "sick"), most rap music, gross animal parts that people actually eat (like pigs feet, tongue, etc.), guys who act interested, but don't actually bother to talk to me or invite me to hangout ever (like a few guys in town XP), when guys will honk at you as they pass if they like you're looks but won't offer you a ride even if it's freezing out, and much more. (Yeah, I know I sound all petty...but it's just because I'm tired, somewhat annoyed, and lonely while I'm writing this. I'll update it with a more cheerful disposition later.
