aaahhh!!!! i made a bunch o cookies for my presents this year
but didn't take any shots with my name in them
good luck to all entrants! I will probably try to squeeze in something before the event ends ~as usual~
maybe no cookies though... i'm a bit cookie'd out
on that note, i have a couple of favourites from the batches i made!
The Green/white wreaths/canes in the background with the chocolate cookies: Eggnog Wreath Cookies - the eggnog adds a creaminess to it and it has that slight kick! from its spices that was really nice. this was the first time i've tried eggnog and used it so i had no idea what to expect-this was surprisingly very nice
Snowball Tree Cookies - these are impossibly buttery (i compare them to egg tart shells!) and i love them to bits! making the small balls makes for easy break off and small nibbles :,)
Lemon Pecan Shortbreads - a bit drying but that's what i expect from shortbreads! This was a nice cookie that wasn't too sweet and really fun to make. Easy easy
All of the recipes I used this year were new to me and a bunch of them ended up being really good and not too sweet !
Hopefully my favourites finds its way into people's hearts too

It is an ornament I colored in a coloring book, and cut out and glued to cardboard. Going to give it as is to the Grandma after the little one adds glitter or whatever else she wants to it. It's double sided.
I made something to drink! Comments: [optional] Gizzie made double chocolate (two types), peppermint , cream coco .... I usually use thin mints crumbled into it but >.< them girl scout cookies are ummm in my tummy long ago >.<

Here's an example from me, just for fun. :D
This mess is MINE! What happened here? Was baking yet another batch of holiday cookies late at night. They finally cooled enough to glaze and sprinkle, but I was too tired by that point to deal with dishes so I left the gloppy racks out overnight. This morning when I went to remove the paper towels from underneath, I found that the glaze had (of course) soaked all the way through and they were completely glued to the counter. Had to chisel the damn things off with a metal spatula. >.>
Made eight. Idea came from here.
