Ludwig blinked, but did not answer. While the boy's assumption was off, it really didn't seem to matter if he corrected him or not. Besides, it would take too long to explain, and he was pretty sure most of the scientists preferred the specimens to be as uninformed as possible. Him being one of the rarer cases thanks to his caretaker. Instead, he motioned for the male lab-coat to the cell, and pointed a gloved finger at the girl on the floor, the issue evident. Whether the man took care of it or not, was no longer his problem. He took a few steps back away from the cell to give him some distance between the stench and himself, holding a hand lightly over the scarf over his mouth (and now his nose too).

Lucille looked at the boy and sighed -- had he still not understood? Even though she herself did not actually know what was going on, there were certain things that everyone could figure out on their own. The fox used to be human, now she had ears and a tail. The reptilian man was most likely human before, but now had scales. And the woman in the distance was a human, too, but changed into a fish if you look at only her ears. Everyone here was a hybrid of some animal -- that was easy enough to deduce. But the boy... what animal was he?
Sighing, Lucille glared at the reptile for a while before shifting her gaze to the scientist. She gave him a look that clearly said, "Get over here before both you and I suffer death due to this vile odor." Peering back at the blonde girl, Lucille wondered what she was -- of all things, what kinds of tests and hybridizations could have screwed her up so badly that she need a diaper?

((sorry for the late responce everyone! long weekend))

Luna and the scientist walked towards the cell. Luna made a disgusted face while the scientist looked in to see what was wrong. With a sigh he looked to Ludwig, "Please take Luna." The female let go of the scientist's arm and slowly walked over to Ludwig, almost falling in the process, and grabbed his arm for support. The scientist opened the cage and grabbed the smaller one, taking her out of the cell and out the doors. He took the girl into a health room and proceeded to take care of her.

Luna stood there, not sure if she was to wait there for the scientist or if she was to continue her exercise. she then looked at the assortment of children and young adults in the cell. They all looked just as miserable as she felt on a daily basis, only she had a scientist that was willing to be nice to her, they didn't. Then she looked at Ludwig, seeing the sorrow deep in his eyes. She looked down at the floor, thinking she should say something, but not sure what.

((Hehe, Ludwig's actually feeling quite indifferent to the others' situations. His little scaly brain isn't quite large enough to care about those that he doesn't know well yet. :XD At most, he'd be worried about himself and perhaps Luna.))

Ludwig held out his free arm for Luna to grasp when his fellow specimen stumbled. Due to the closeness in proximity, he was able to see her face clearly for once. Obviously, she had aged during her years here, and he could see six delicate fin-like appendages poking out from under her thick, lush hair. She didn't look too well on the land, and he supposed that was only a given considering what she had been fused with. He was somewhat surprised that she didn't require staying under water to breath. Her human side had probably won out in that battle during the hybridizing process.

He turned back to the cell after a while, noting how the temperature was more comfortable down here than out in the other parts of the facility. It seemed that it was either the scientists didn't want to waste their funds on air conditioning fees, or the government had been too cheap to pay for them, instead pouring all the money onto these seemingly rather useless experiments. He called them useless because of all these years he had been staying at the facility, he hadn't even once seen a 'successful' hybrid that had actually been sent out to battle. Even the most powerfully trained ones remained here. It made him wonder at times just what the point was in creating them through all the extreme means if they were just going to sit around and rot?

Lucille stared down the scientist as he came to take the blonde away -- she was always wary of these people. They brought nothing but horrible memories to the humans they captured, memories of pain and suffering, isolation and loneliness. At least, that's how Lucille felt for a while. When she just got to the facility, she was enraged after her transformation into a fox hybrid and attacked a laboratory technician, which got her put in isolation for months on end. Being in this cell, no matter how putrid it smelled or felt, was better than being alone.

With a soft sigh, the fox leaned against the bars of their prison and crossed her arms, staring at nothing in particular. However, the fox's ears perked up as she heard the door open and shut -- the smell of a familiar man invading her nose. It was always that same person who took her into a physical training room to battle it out against someone else, either a human to spar with or another hybrid. Either way, she never actually did anything to even try to not get beat up. Lucille would rather let the scientists see their tests and results fall down the gutter, even if she had to be abused in the process. Snarling quietly to herself, Lucilla turned away from the scientist abruptly when he addressed her. "Don't make this harder than it has to be," he threatened menacingly. The fox hybrid turned and bared her teeth, making a low growl with eyes that just showed how she was itching to give him a fair punch in the jaw -- it was that face that could probably be classified as the most frightening face anyone could ever put on. I'm not doing it again... No matter how much I want to screw up your results...! There was only one issue with her resolve, and it was in the fact that the man could probably go get someone to drug her all over again. Of course, there'd be a humongous fist fight, but Lucille would end up losing again and causing herself more pain than necessary.

Grinning feebly when the scientist came to take her away, Cho looked to the kitsune before signing. Thank you, she said with her hands. And then she was taken away into a different room; one decorated like a nursery. Normally, she would've found that offensive. She wasn't a baby after all, but she would be glad if she just got a change and some medicine.

He laid her down on a cold changing table a little roughly, probably peeved that he had to take care of her. Maybe now they would try and find someone to do this for her when she needed it. Or, maybe she had done something to deserve punishment? The scientists had punished her similarly once before when she refused to attack the dummy.

When the cold wipe touched her skin, she shivered, but that shiver quickly turned into a squeal of pain when he began applying the diaper rash cream to her rash. It burned so bad! He just grunted and continued his task, not that she would've asked him to stop. She needed the cream after all. Eventually, she was powdered and taped snugly into a nice, fresh diaper. The man then pulled off her filthy top, leaving her naked except for the diaper. He wrote a quick message saying a doctor would be in momentarily and left. He probably had to get back to the fish girl after all.

And he hadn't lied. In just a few minutes, a nice doctor came in. His dark brown hair glinted slightly in the light, while his green eyes held nothing but compassion and kindness. He came over and tapped her on the nose gently, smiling while he did so. Then he asked her to stand by pointing to her and standing up himself. She complied, slightly confused. He checked her rash before shaking his head, and writing something down.

Then he had her sit down while he pulled out his stethoscope. He mimed taking a deep breath, which she copied while he put the device to her tummy, resulting in a shiver. Then he moved it to her heart and had her do the same thing. After doing that several more times, he finished writing, and pulled out a strange-looking tool that he put in her ears. And then she shone the light in her eyes, causing them to tear up a bit.

A thermometer was pulled out of a small box before he popped the end in her mouth, and motioned for her to keep it there. She complied while he wrote some more notes on his clipboard. Then he took it out, wrote down what it read, and pitched it in the biohazard waste thingy. He showed her a note on a blank piece of paper that read, "Symptoms?" She responded by taking the clipboard and pen, and writing a response.

"I'm feeling hot and cold, sick to my tummy, headaches, achey hands and legs, and a runny nose," she wrote back, handing him the clipboard when he was finished. He made an "ah" motion before writing something else on another page of the clipboard. Then he helped her down, and over to a scale. He took her height and weight: 3'4" and 27 pounds, and then her blood pressure: 50 over 20. He just looked kind of shocked, which she supposed made sense. After all, a normal human would've died from that.

Once he had entered all the information into a computer, he led her back into the nursery and changed her diaper, which had become wet during the long process. The cream didn't sting nearly as much this time, but it still wasn't pleasant at first. He also used a bit more powder, smelling her like he loved the scent, which caused her to giggle. He was so nice! She was even more surprised when he dug out some fresh clothes, and dressed her in them. A plain black onsie, purple sweat pants, blue ruffled socks, and a black Halloween sweater with a jack-o'-lantern on the front. Orange and green stripes came down the sleeves, and it was all cotton, so it was incredibly soft. This was all followed by a pumpkin hairpin that he placed in her iridescent, multi-colored hair.

Honestly, it was the nicest thing anyone had ever done for her at this stupid place, and she couldn't help hugging him tightly when he picked her up to take her back to the cell. Before he dropped her off though, he gave her a little device that would call him when she needed changed. Then he gave her a glass of water and a pill for her sickness. She took it immediately before looking at the others. Back to loneliness. Sighing, she made her way over and sat down next to the wolf-boy. It would be her turn for training next, but she could still relax until then.

Idly playing with a piece of straw Aletta was bored out of her mind.
She sighed over dramatically and threw it away.
Her gaze drifted back to the ceiling.
Bored bored bored bored. Nothing to do, no one to talk to.
She shifted irritably, sitting still for long periods of time made her wings cramp, but what else was there to do?

The scientists hadn't been to see her for a very long time, not since she'd hit the last one with her wings and broken his arm.
Well it served him right really, he had been trying to get her to fight some poor defensless kid. She frowned at the memory, she wasn't a bully and it had made her so mad.
I didn't used to have that bad a temper.....did I? Oh why can't I remember?
After that incident they had pretty much left her alone, drugging her when they needed to do anything in her cage.
Aletta pulled a face, those drugs weren't fun. She always felt sick afterwards.

A click at the door caught her attention and she sprang up, wings raised and ready. She was determined, no more drugs!
A tall, thin faced man came cautiously in. He was obviously one of the scientists because he had one of those long lab coats on.
For a moment they stared at each other without speaking or moving.
Finally Aletta couldn't stand the tension any longer and spoke, "What do you want?" It came out shriller than she liked, after all she couldn't let him see she was scared.
The man just looked at her with unblinking eyes.
"There will be a test" he said finally, in a surprisingly pleasant sounding voice. "You will either go willingly, or you will be drugged."

Aletta cringed, her wings drooping dejectedly. She really, really didn't want to be sick anymore.
"Ok" she whispered.

The scientist merely nodded and produced a pair of handcuffs for her hands then, bizarrely an odd looking contraption. It kinda looked like a whole load of loops, chains and clips.
She must have looked confused, because he smiled grimly and said "Turn around."
Aletta hesitated, she wasn't sure she wanted to turn her back on him. She didn't trust any of the people here.

The man carefully withdrew a covered syringe from his pocket. "I am not a patient man. Now turn around."
Aletta gulped and did as she was told.
There was a clinking behind her and she felt something going round her wings. They suddenly felt a lot heavier.
Experimentally she tried to move them, feeling slightly paniced when she found she couldn't.
Turning back to the man Aletta was beginning to feel that maybe this hadn't been such a good idea after all. Then she remembered the syringe he had shown her, there hadn't been much of a choice.

He turned back to the door, withdrawing the keycard from a pocket and opening it.
"You will follow me" he said, not even turning back to check.
Taking a deep breath Aletta slowly crept out the door.
