Thats why the human can only see the magic beings as humans, and not for what they really are. The magic beings are drawn to the magic, but they think its the inn.

Plot so far:

There is an ancient, powerful magic artifact buried underground that changes the land around it. One of the affects it has is to non magical people, magical things look like an ordinary equivalent. It also attracts magic and magical people to the area. An unknowing human comes to the area and builds an inn. The artifact blesses the inn owners with good luck so that the inn is kept there for generations. Magical creatures blame the inn and owners for being attracted and are clueless to the artifact.
