Sounds like an interesting load, at least! Are you enjoying them all? As much as one can enjoy 400-level classes, anyway.

Some of them more so than others, but I think they're all interesting. At this point in the semester, I'm ready for it to just be done with so I can have a break. I'm tired haha!

I bet!

This semester is flying by for me. By this time last semester I felt like I had been in my classes for ages and I was looking forward to it being over. This time, I feel like we just started and I'm not ready for the semester to end yet. Partially because the semester ending means I need to get a job. x_x no scary don't want to

Well when this semester ends for me, I get to keep working, but new classes start two weeks after the semester ends and then once those are done I get to go to Quebec for 6 weeks to finish my French proficiency.

Once you've finished college entirely, you're not going to know what to do with all your extra time.

-Scratches head- Is that about, Winnie the Pooh and the hobbit? I don't quite get how the hobbit fits into that title...

True. I'll have to enroll in grad school or find a hobby or something haha!

Biggles, it's kind of weird. It's mostly British Children's literature. The class has included the following:

Winnie the Pooh and The House at Pooh Corner by A.A. Milne
The Wind and the Willows by Kenneth Grahame
The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien
Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis
The Jungle Book (1 and 2) by Rudyard Kipling.

It's been a really fun class. Basically just exploring the books and the style of the writing and the history of the authors and stuff.

For my final project, I'm composing a book of poems by Eeyore.

Ah, I guess I don't really think of the Hobbit as children's lit, more fantasy.
There's always a market for nihilist poems, I would think

I don't necessarily think of The Hobbit as children's lit either. It just kind of found it's way in to the class. I didn't even bother reading it though. I don't like Tolkien.

I believe that I'd have a hard time not throwing myself down a flight of stairs each time I had a class with that particular list of literature.

I liked the majority of it xP

Kipling was a bit hard to get through, and I didn't really like how different Peter Pan was from my childhood, growing up loving the Disney version and all that. But the rest were okay/good. Plus, I love YA literature. I kind of want it to be the field I go into when I work in publishing eventually.

I'd love to see the Eeyore poems once you've finished them.

Of course. I'm going to make a tumblr for it like I did with my Morgan Le Fay diary from last semester (same teacher).

I wish I still had the login for that tumblr so I could just use it again.

Nevermind, I remembered it xP
